This research focuses on the acculturation experiences of the Chinese students studying at South Korea University, specially the academic learning and Arbeit(part-time job) experiences. They have double identity as worker and student. Research method of this paper is based on the qualitative research methods, specially in-depth interviews. 8 Chinese students have attended to in-depth interviews, they are all studying at University A in Seoul. The result of research have identified considerable difficulties that Chinese students have experienced in their academic learning at South Korea University. It has been demonstrated that difficult of Chinese students’academic study, limit of making new friends, sense of loneliness and depression, relationship with faculty, their unfamiliarity with the South Korean culture, working part-time for his school expenses. They have experienced discrimination and ignoring, sexual harassment for girl students, and ignoring and derogatory about Chinese products in the process of part-time job, while have got opportunities for understanding South Korea's workplace culture, for learning about the importance of human relationships, and for searching their job and career exploration.

이 연구는 재한 중국유학생의 대학생활 적응경험에 대하여 심층면담에 의한 질적 연구방법을 활용하여 살펴보았다. 한국에서 대학생활을 하는 중국유학생들은 학업과 경제적인 면에서 가장 큰 어려움을 겪고 있었다. 따라서 이 연구는 중국유학생들이 학업과 함께 아르바이트를 병행하면서 한국 대학과 사회에 적응해 간 경험의 과정은 어떠하며 그 경험의 의미는 무엇인지 분석해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울에 위치한 A대학에 재학 중인 중국유학생 8명을 대상으로 심층면담을 하여 분석한 결과, 대학생활 적응경험으로 전공수업의 어려움, 친구 사귀기의 한계, 교수와의 관계, 사회․문화적 차이에 당황함, 외로움과 우울, 힘들지만 유익한 아르바이트 경험이라는 여섯 가지 주제로 범주화할 수 있었다. 특히 중국유학생의 아르바이트 경험으로는 차별과 무시, 성희롱과 중국인은 더럽다는 편견, 중국(산)에 대한 불신과 무시, 한국의 직장문화와 인간관계에 대해 배움, 한국의 언어와 문화에 대한 이해, 진로 탐색의 기회를 얻음이라는 하위 주제를 발견할 수 있었다.
