This paper is asserting that ethics counseling can contribute to anger control. We have thought that psychology or medicine should takes charge of anger control. I think that ethics can contribute to anger control. Client's pain is problem that is ethical preferably rather than psychologic problem. It is the person's ethical casualty and practice that the clients should be cured. Moral principle consultation(Ethics counseling) has forming naturally through long history. Seneca's 'De Ira' belonging to Stoa school is case of moral principle consultation. Moral principle consultation is different from mind consultation or treatment. Reason, which must speak moral principle consultation, is that the client’s fundamental problem can not approach by drugs prescription. Serious moral discord can not be stabilized for medicine. It is area that should solve through ethics counseling. Seneca regarded ethics practice as consultor's role. That ethics is not only theory study. Ethics advises to own and another person and acts as a consultor. Seneca's De Ira, eudemonics, and his aphorisms is giving people the calm. Seneca's healing discourse is ethical healing discourse. Seneca is showing through moral principle consultation that anger exclusion, anger management, anger courtesy call are possible.

이 논문은 분노조절에 윤리상담이 기여할 수 있음을 주장하고 있다. 분노조절은 심리학이나 의 학이 담당해야 할 것으로 생각되어온 것에 문제의식을 가지고, 윤리학이 기여할 수 있다는 점 을 부각시키고 있다. 내담자들에게 있어서 그 고민은 심리적 문제라기보다는 윤리적 문제라는 것에 착안해서 내담자들이 교정 받아야 할 것은 그 사람의 윤리적 사고와 실천임을 이야기 하 고 있다. 윤리상담은 내담자들의 요청에 의한 자생적인 것으로 역사가 깊다. 이 논문은 일예로 스토아 학파에 속하는 ‘세네카의 분노론’에 대한 분석을 시도하고 있다. 심리 상담이나 치료와 구분해 서 윤리상담을 말해야 하는 이유는 내담자들의 근본문제가 약물처방으로 접근할 수 없는 지점 에 자리 잡고 있다는 점이다. 심각한 도덕적 갈등은 약물로 해결될 수 있는 것이 아니라, 윤리 상담을 통해서 해결해야 하는 영역인 것이다. 세네카는 윤리학의 실천을 단지 학문적인 훈련이 아니라 자기 자신은 물론 타인들에게 정보를 제공하고 충고하며 상담사 역할을 하는 것으로 봤다. 세네카의 분노론, 행복론, 그리고 그의 잠 언들은 마치 윤리상담을 하고 있는 것처럼 도덕적 기준들로써 위안을 주고 있다.. 이 논문은 세 네카의 치유담론이 윤리적 치유 담론이라는 것과 그것이 윤리상담을 통해 분노제거, 분노관리, 분노예방의 실질적 조언으로 윤리상담에 쓰일 수 있다는 점을 제시하고 있다.
