For achieving these purposes, this study arranged cooperative learning theories, considered its concepts and characteristics and analyzed the structure of creative music guidance plans that applied the cooperative learning theory, based on normal literature concerning cooperative learning and class model. As a research method, then, this study divided creative music guidance plans that applied LT, STAD and GI models of the cooperative learning theory, into several elements such as grouping, stages of learning, styles of learning, activity subject and role and fields of activity to analyze. The results of this study are as follows. First, in all classes, all members participated in group activities, lively. These group activities helped students create songs with a higher degree of completion than individual activities. During this process, students can exchange their opinions with each other, get over limits of individual capabilities and accept abilities of other members. Secondly, student-centered activities occupied a higher proportion of class. Not the cramming or instructor-led class, the cooperative learning model-based class which assigns lots of roles to students and centers on their activities, can help them complete creative results by themselves, by activating their musical thinking. Third, the integrated education was carried out throughout the music class applying the cooperative learning model. In particular, singing, instrumental music, creation and appreciation that are fields of musical activities, were evenly included in the class for the integrated education. These results demonstrate that student-centered activity, group activity and heterogeneous grouping which are crucial factors of the cooperative learning theory, were applied to the creative music class.

본 연구의 목적은 협동학습이론을 적용한 음악과 창작수업의 구조를 분석함으로써 협동학습 모형 이론이 음악과 수업에 적용되는 방법과 의미를 밝혀 보다 발전된 형태의 음악과 수업 모형 을 만들고 음악과 수업을 발전시키는 데 시사점을 제공하는 데 있다. 연구의 내용은 협동학습 및 수업 모형과 관련된 일반 문헌에 기초하여 협동학습 이론을 정리하고 개념 및 특징에 대해 고찰하며, 협동학습 이론을 적용한 창작 음악 지도안의 구조를 분석하였다. 연구 방법은 협동학습 이론 중 LT, STAD, GI모형을 적용한 창작 음악 지도안을 모둠구성, 학습단계, 학습형태, 활동 주체 및 역할, 활동영역 등의 요소로 나누어 분석하였다. 연구의 결과 로는 협동학습이론을 적용한 수업의 경우 다음의 특징이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 첫째, 모든 수업 에서 구성원의 모둠 활동이 활발히 이루어진다. 둘째, 수업 중 학생이 중심이 되어 활동하는 비 중이 높았다. 셋째, 통합적 교육이 이루어지고 있는 수업이 주를 이루고 있다. 본 연구를 통하여 협동학습 이론의 중요한 요인인 학생 중심, 모둠 활동, 이질적인 모둠 구성 등이 음악과 창작 수업에 적용되어 있다는 사실을 발견할 수 있었다.
