This study uses visual perception evaluation tools(Clinical Art Therapy Visual Perception Test : CAT-VPT) of clinical art therapy to see the changes in the enhancement of the visual perception of rehabilitation children patients. The subject of this study includes outpatients in the rehabilitation department of Hospital C situated in Gyeonggi-do; 10 patients in the experimental group and 10 patients in the control group. The experimental group carried out rehabilitation treatment sided by side, once a week for 1 hour and 30 minutes per session, for 12 sessions from September 2013 until November 2013. In order to verify the effect of clinical art therapy on enhancing visual therapy, the evaluation tool used is the Beery-Buktenica developmental test of Visual-Motor Integration (Beery VMI) to measure and compare the changes before and after. As for qualitative analysis, Line Bisection (LB) was used for visual perception evaluation(Clinical Art Therapy Visual Perception Test : CAT-VPT), to analyze the pictures of patients before and after. The data from this study was analyzed using the program SPSSWIN 20.0, and in order to verify homogeneous groups, t-testing of the independent sample and homogeneity test was carried out. The results of this study are as follows. First, the test results of visual perception-unified movement showed an enhancement compared to before and after clinical art therapy, a difference that proved to be statistically significant. Second, the detailed criteria of the visual perception evaluation tools of art therapy showed enhanced scores compared to before and after the clinical art therapy program was carried out, showing a difference that proved to be statistically significant. Third, by using art therapy visual perception evaluation tools for qualitatively analyzing the changes before and after art therapy, differences can be seen between the quantitative analysis results, thus showing significant results as an evaluation tool. In conclusion, the research results of this study prove the usefulness and the positive influence of clinical art therapy programs as visual perception evaluation tools on child patients with developmental disorders Research results such as these imply that art therapy can be applied as an effective rehabilitative tool for enhancing visual perception of children with developmental disorders, in addition to being used as an evaluation tool for objectively evaluating art therapy in future research.

본 연구는 미술치료 시지각 평가도구(clinical art therapy visual perception test : CAT-VPT)를 활용하여 발달장애 소 아재활 환아의 시지각 향상을 위한 임상미술치료를 적용하여 시지각에 어떠한 변화가 있는지에 대해 알아보는 것이 다. 본 연구의 대상은 경기도에 소재한 C병원의 재활의학과 외래 환자를 대상으로 실험집단 10명, 통제집단 10명으로 진행하였으며, 실험집단은 기존의 재활치료를 병행하는 동안 2013년 9월부터 11월까지 주 1회 30분 동안 12회기로 임 상미술치료를 실시하였다. 미술치료 시지각 향상을 위한 임상미술치료의 효과를 검증하기 위해 사용된 평가도구로는 Beery-Buktenica의 시 각-운동통합발달검사(Beery-Buktenica developmental test of visual-motor integration : Beery VMI)를 평가도구로 사 용 하여 전, 후의 변화를 측정 하였고, 질적분석을 위해 임상미술치료 시지각 평가도구(clinical art therapy visual perception test : CAT-VPT), 선 나누기(line bisection : LB)를 사용하여 사전, 사후 환아 개인별 그림분석을 실시, 질적 변화를 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 수집된 자료는 SPSSWIN 20.0 프로그램을 사용하였으며 동질집단 검증을 위해 독립표본 t검정과 사전 검사 결과로 동질성 검사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아동의 시각-운동통합검사의 점수는 임상미술치료 프로그램을 시행 한 후 시행 전에 비하여 향상되어 통계적 으로도 유의미한 차이점을 보였다. 둘째, 아동의 미술치료 시지각 평가도구의 세부 항목들의 점수는 임상미술치료 프 로그램을 시행 한 후 시행 전에 비하여 향상되어 통계적으로도 유의미한 차이점을 보였다. 셋째, 미술치료 시지각 평가 도구를 척도로 사용하여 사전, 사후 질적분석을 실시 한 것이 양적분석을 실시한 것과 같은 변화를 보이고 있어 평가도 구 로서의 유의미한 결과를 보였다. 본 연구의 결과들은 종합하여 볼 때, 미술치료 시지각 평가도구의 척도로서의 유용함과 임상미술치료 프로그램이 발달장애 소아재활 환아의 시지각 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구를 토대로 발달장애 아동들에게 시지각의 기능 향상에 있어 효과적인 재활치료로 적용될 수 있음을 시사하며 임상미술치료의 평가도구를 척도로 사용하여 객관적으로 검증 할 수 있는 많은 연구가 이루어지기를 기대해 본다.
