The school violence of today, which gradually becomes systematized, strong and brutal, and is conducted more by younger persons than ever and by cyber media, threatens collapse of the school education as well as welfare, safety and happiness of the students. This paper points out that approaches to the studies and policies on a solution to the school violence that have been carried out for several years has been microscopic, fragmentary and limited, proposing to convert the way of thinking into interdisciplinary, general and integrated methods. Therefore, it introduces multiple intelligence(MQ)ㆍsocial intelligence(SQ)ㆍmoral intelligence(MQ) from existing traditional intelligence quotient(IQ). And as theories for paradigm shift, the theory of Nick Davies who proposed a harmonious right people having analyzed that failure in the school education is caused by neo-liberalism based on competition and the theory of David W. Orr who proposed consistent educational ecological access as an alternative for the school violence and problems of school education.

오늘날 강력화, 집단화, 흉포화, 저연령화, 사이버 매체화의 특징을 보이는 학교폭력 문제는 학생들의 복지와 안전, 행복은 물론 학교 교육의 붕괴, 더 나아가 한국사회를 위협하는 요인이 되고 있다. 본 논문은 학교폭력 문제 해결을 위한 연구와 대책 및 정책의 접근 방법의 한계 ― 미시적ㆍ단편적ㆍ제한적 ― 를 지적하면서 인간과 사회의 상호연관성 속에서 좀 더 근원적ㆍ심층적ㆍ총체적ㆍ통합적인 방법으로의 접근해야 할 것을 요구하고 있다. 학교폭력과 학교문제 해결을 위해서는 기존 경쟁지향적인 전통적 지능(IQ) 교육에서 탈피한 새로운 지능교육 ― 다중지능(MQ)ㆍ감성지능(EQ)ㆍ사회지능(SQ)ㆍ도덕지능(MQ) ― 이어야 할 것과 닉 데이비스(Nick Davies)의 ‘광범위한 교육복지’와 데이비드 W. 오어(David W. Orr)의 ‘교육에의 지속가능한 생태학’을 대안적 패러다임으로 소개하고 있다.
