In this paper, we investigated how multicultural education program with Ollybolly online picture book which Daum foundation developed for elementary school where multicultural education is acted is effective on elementary students' intercultural sensitivity development. Two specific questions of this paper is first, how we develop and apply this online picture book program for elementary students' intercultural sensitivity development. Second, which effects are given for elementary students' intercultural sensitivity development through this online picture program. To the end, we developed the program using Ollybolly online picture book for elementary 3rd grade students and conducted for 20 hours in the creative activity class(40min.) from Sep. 3, 2013 to Nov. 14, 2013. We got these results as following. First, this online picture book program for intercultural sensitivity development is positive for the improvement of esteem which is subordinate factor of intercultural sensitivity. Second, in analysis of question difference, there are meaningful differences between a pre-test and post-test. Third, this paper was significant because it proved this program was effective on the intercultural sensitivity development because it helped all children included multicultural children experience this program in regular class. Also, . Especially it gaved an alternative plan such as Ollybolly online picture book as an effective one of various multicultural education methods in the elementary school.

본 연구에서는 다문화교육을 실행하는 초등학교 현장에서 사용할 수 있도록 개발된 다음세대재단의 올리볼리 온라인 그림동화를 활용한 다문화교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 상호문화적 감수성 의 3가지 요소의 하나인 존중성 요소의 함양에 어떻게 효과가 있는지를 탐구하였다. 본 연구의 구체적인 탐구 문제는 첫째, 초등학생의 상호문화적 감수성의 발달을 위한 온라인 그림동화 프로그램을 어떻게 구안하여 적용할 것인가?와 둘째, 온라인 그림동화 프로그램이 초등학생들의 상호문화적 감수성 발달에 어떠한 영향을 주는가?이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 초등학교 3학년 아동을 대상으로 올리볼리 온라인 그림동화를 활용한 프로그램을 구안하여 2013년 9월 3일부터 11월 14일까지(각 40분) 창의적 체험활동 시간에 20차시를 운영하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 상호문화적 감수성 신장을 위한 온라인 그림동화 프로그램은 상호문화적 감수성의 하위 요인인 존중성 향상에 긍정적으로 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 문항별 차이 분석에서도 사전검사와 사후검사 간에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 본 연구는 다문화 아동을 포함한 일반 아동들이 정규 교육과정 시간에 체계적으로 프로그램을 경험하게 함으로써 상호문화적 감수성 측면에서 그 효과성을 검증하고, 올리볼리 온라인 그림동화라는 다문화교육의 방법론적 대안을 제시하였다는데 그 의의가 있다.
