- Rim Wonchun is Korean―chinese novelist and is born at Yanbian in china. He was first published a short story in 1958. The name of short story is Molten iron. then, he has announced a novel for a long time. Finally, he completed his masterpiece Orangkaeryeong as Korean―chinese’s novel. Orangkaeryeong contains the state of culture and society of Yanbian in 1932~1934. I studied in this work, the following conclusions were drawn. This work contains Korean―chinese’s life-style and consciousness to overcome the time of adversity. The Korean―chinese’s efforts are found the three aspects : Background, character, and cultural uniqueness. This work reflects the three elements effectively and faithfully.
