The purpose of this study was to calibrate sensitivity of the multicultural welfare facilities for workers and the need to seek promotion thereof. This allows the multicultural society that welcomes the correction welfare workers engaged in promoting cultural sensitivity and multicultural society to seek to raise capacity for research to be significant. Status of research and education into practice for a multicultural multicultural understanding and sensitivity to search for a theoretical background, and then the social welfare practitioners through previous research on multicultural sensitivity calibration multicultural sensitivity level of welfare facilities for workers and the future direction of policy suggestions foundation that can be used. Calibration results of the research workers welfare institutions were weak, workers in order to increase sensitivity of the multicultural individual and organizational level, the highest policy-making body of work and you can build on the approach of the rationale is provided.

본 연구의 목적은 교정복지시설 종사자의 다문화 민감성의 필요성과 증진방안을 모색하는 것에 있다. 이를 통해 다문 화사회를 맞이하여 교정복지시설에 종사하는 종사자들의 다문화민감성 증진방안을 모색하여 다문화 사회에 대한 역 량을 높이는데 연구 의의가 있다. 연구를 위해 다문화 실천현황과 교육현황을 파악하고 다문화민감성에 대한 이론적 배경을 탐색한 후 사회복지관련 실천가들의 다문화 민감성에 대한 선행연구를 통해서 교정복지시설 종사자의 다문화 민감성 수준과 발전방향에 정책 적 제언을 할 수 있는 기반을 마련하는데 있다. 연구결과 교정복지시설 종사자의 연구는 미약하였으며, 종사자의 다 문화 민감성을 높이기위해서는 개인 및 조직차원에서의 노력과 최고 정책결정기관에서의 접근 방안을 마련할 수 있 는 이론적 근거를 마련하였다는데 연구의 의의가 있다.
