The purposes of this study is to analyze the mediation effect of instructional leadership between principal's transformational leadership and school organizational effectiveness in secondary school. For the purposes, first, the study analyzes what kind of causality between principal's transformational leadership and instructional leadership on school organizational effectiveness in secondary school. Second, the study analyzes what kind of mediation effect on instructional leadership between transformational leadership and school organizational effectiveness in secondary school. For the results of the study, 131 junior high school teachers are selected at ChungCheongbuk-Do 11 districts Offices of Education in the sample. The 200 questionnaires are sent them and returned 176 of 200. Actually, applied 161 of 171 and analyzed in structural equation model. The study are followed; First, there is significant relationship .847(p=.0001) between transformational leadership and instructional leadership. Second, the study analyze instructional leadership affects school organizational effectiveness in secondary school .578(p=.0001). Third, the study indicated instructional leadership directly affects transformational leadership and school organizational effectiveness .324(p=.0001) Therefore, if two elements complement a limit each other and display multifaceted sides, school organizational effectiveness in secondary school is enhanced.

이 연구는 수업지도성이 학교장의 변혁적 지도성과 학교조직효과성의 관계에 어떠한 매개효과가 있는지를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 이 연구는 설문지 조사 방법으로 시행되었으며, 표집 대상은 충청북도 11개 지역교육청과 131개 중학교, 그리고 161명의 교사이다. 분석결과는 이론적 검토를 통하여 구안된 연구모형은 적합한 것으로 판단할 수 있으며, 학교장의 변혁적 지도성, 수업지도성, 학교조직효과성 간에는 상호 통계적으로 유의미한 관계가 있다는 점이 밝혀졌다. 특히 학교장의 변혁적 지도성은 수업지도성과 학교조직효과성에 직접적인 영향을 미치며, 학교장의 수업지도성은 학교조직효과성에 직접효과가 있는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 또한 수업지도성은 학교조직효과성에 대한 학교장의 변혁적 지도성의 영향에 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
