The purpose of this study is to analyze on elementary teachers' stage of concern(SoC) on 'Creative-Experience Activity' in 2009 revised national curriculum and investigate the improvements of their levels. The subjects of this study were sampled 214 elementary school teachers through out all part of the country. For data collection, as George et. al.(2006) suggested, Questionnaire of Stage of Concern was used. The Data were analyzed by Profiling of teachers' concern and one-way ANOVA. The result of this study are follows: First, 78.51% of the elementary teachers were in stage of Awareness. 8.87% of teachers were in stage of Information. Most of elementary teachers' concern about 'Creative-Experience Activity' was in indifference of self-interest level. Second, there were significant differences in teachers' stage of concern according to their sex, teaching career except for some of the stage. In region, there were no significant difference. It will be supposed that there are some main reasons which the teachers' low concern. For example, too much change of curriculum, teachers' distrust of the revised curriculum, and compelling curriculum liberalism, etc.. The result of the study provide that there are not curriculum implementation success without teachers' concern about revised curriculum.

본 연구는 2009 개정 교육과정 창의적 체험활동에 관한 초등학교 교사들의 관심 수준을 분석하고 이에 따른 교사들의 관심 제고 방안을 탐색하였다. 이를 위하여 전국 초등학교 교사 214명을 대상으로 미국 텍사스 대학교(Uni. of Texas at Austin) 교사교육연구소에서 개발한 교육과정 실행모형(CBAM)에 따라 설문조사하고 그 자료를 통계분석 하였다. 연구를 통해 밝혀진 창의적 체험활동에 대한 초등학교 교사들의 관심도는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 설문 대상 교사들의 78.51%가 지각적 단계에 머물러 있다. 이것은 창의적 체험활동 교육과정에 대한 초등학교 교사들의 관심이 매우 낮다는 것을 의미한다. 둘째, 성별, 경력별로는 관심 단계에 따라 약간의 차이를 보였고, 지역별로는 차이를 보이지 않았다. 초등학교 교사들이 창의적 체험활동에 이렇게 관심이 낮은 원인을 분석해 본 결과 먼저 지나치게 잦은 교육과정 개정으로 인한 교육과정 관심의 전반적인 하락이 창의적 체험활동의 관심도에 영향을 미친 것으로 파악하였고, 창의적 체험활동의 운영에 있어 학교 평가 등을 통한 대한 암묵적 통제, 중등학교 중심의 창의적 체험활동 편제 등의 원인이 창의적 체험활동 관심 저하로 분석되었다.
