The purpose of this study is to evaluate attributes of convention destination according to type of conference. This paper examines convention attendees’ rating of four Korean convention destinations(Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Jeju) not only as overall destinations but also on specific convention attributes. Confirmatory factor analysis showed a model fit to explain attributes which is related to behavioral intention as well as level of satisfaction. In addition, this study suggested that different attributes are significant for different destinations in explaining their convention, exposition and meeting-site attractiveness. Results will make a contributions to select convention destinations by meeting planners as well as decision-makers of governments, associations, and corporates.
