As an important part in MICE industry, exhibition industry has developed rapidly in the whole world. Chinese exhibition industry develops with a late start but increases by 20% yearly. During this rapid development, many problems also arose, especially the problems about intellectual property rights, which block up further development of chinese exhibition industry. In this paper, the author first explains the concept and types of intellectual property rights, then expounds the situation and characters of chinese exhibition industry in last 5 years, and analyzes the problems about intellectual property rights took place in national and international trade shows. Finally gives several advises for the industrial policy.
