This research was carried out for the purpose of developing an instruction model for enhancement of key competence and education of creativity & personality in clothing and textile area of the 2009 revised Practical Arts curriculum. Based upon literature review and case methods, the research drew the following conclusions. First, key competence in the clothing and textile education entails creativity, problem-solving ability, self- management capacity, career development ability, citizenship, and communication competence. Second, creativity and personality education should not only pursue its on-hand instructional goals, but also be able to achieve more concrete capacity, such key competence of creativity as fluency, flexibility, originality, punctualness, problem-solving ability, and curiosity as well as such one of personality as trust, responsibility, self-discipline, benevolence, cooperation, and citizenship. Third, the instruction model proposed includes practical problem-solving model in the chapter of 'to self- manage clothing', creative problem solving model in the chapter of 'to wear healthy and safe clothing‘, and project learning model in the chapter of 'to make living goods for environment and sharing' respectively. Owing to its appropriateness for creativity and personality education, these models mostly explore non- structured problems, achieve cooperative learning, and cover such characteristic elements of clothing life as discussion, examination, analysis, practical training. This result provides a foundation of creativity and personality education in clothing and textile area, suggesting one of its realized instruction model for practical arts area. Hopefully its consequential education may make up for the gap of the research in examination of validity and credibility following clarification of those concepts, as well as in reviewing any student change after adopting this curriculum.

이 연구는 2009 개정 교육과정에서 추구하는 핵심역량함양과 창의ˑ인성교육을 실과 의생활영역에서 실현하기 위 해 실과 의생활영역에서의 핵심역량중심의 창의ˑ인성교육 수업모델을 개발하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실과 의생활영역에서의 핵심역량은 창의력, 문제해결능력, 자기관리능력, 진로개발능력, 시민의식, 대인관 계능력이었다. 둘째, 실과 의생활영역의 창의ˑ인성교육 내용요소를 추출한 결과, 창의성교육요소는 유창성, 융통성, 독창성, 정 교성, 문제해결능력, 호기심이며, 인성교육요소는 신뢰, 책임, 자율, 배려, 협동, 시민의식이었다. 셋째, 실과 의생활영역에서의 핵심역량중심의 창의ˑ인성교육 수업모델은 ‘스스로 하는 옷 관리’단원에서는 실천 적 문제해결 수업모델을, ‘건강하고 안전한 옷차림’단원에서는 창의적 문제해결 수업모델을, ‘환경과 나눔의 생 활용품 만들기’단원에서는 프로젝트 수업모델을 제안하였다. 이 모델들은 정형화되지 않는 문제를 탐구하고, 협 동학습을 이룰 수 있으며, 조사, 토론, 실습 등의 의생활특성을 살릴 수 있는 요소를 포함시킬 수 있기 때문에, 의생활영역에서의 핵심역량 중심의 창의ˑ인성교육을 하기에 적합한 특성을 지녔으며, 3가지 수업모델을 기초로 교수ˑ학습과정안과 수업과정안을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 실과 의생활영역에서 핵심역량 중심의 창의ˑ인성 수업모델을 제시함으로써 의생활영역에서의 창의ˑ인 성 수업의 기초를 마련하는데 의의가 있으며, 후속 연구로 의생활영역에서의 창의ˑ인성요소들에 대한 타당도 검증 및 개념을 명료화하고, 이를 학생들에게 실시하여 학생들의 변화를 살피는 연구를 제안하고자 한다.
