This study reviews the educational necessity and contents of issues on non-regular workers in terms of social studies, based on which it aims to look into the problem of situational analysis related to issues on non-regular workers and how to build a series of its solution process into teaching-learning models and lesson plans of social studies education. Firstly, after reviewing recent precedent studies, it was found that it is not only hard to find concepts or issues on nonregular workers dealt with explicitly in the curriculum and the textbook of social studies as a content area or content factor, but also discussions about learning were not specific. Therefore, in this study, the content and the method structure of issues on non-regular workers in terms of social studies education are approached step by step , and in order to compose the educational contents of issues on non-regular workers, the definition of non-regular workers, their rights to be ensured, the policy of the government on employment, and social awareness were designed to learn. And in order to compose the educational methods of issues on non-regular workers, a teaching-learning model that includes practical lesson plans for conflict situation analysis and resolution that focus on the solution process of issues on non-regular workers was designed.

본 연구는 비정규직 근로자 쟁점에 대한 사회과교육학적 접근에서의 교육적 필요성과 내용을 검 토해보고, 이를 바탕으로 비정규직 근로자 쟁점과 관련한 현실 상황 분석과 문제점, 그리고 해결방안을 도 출하는 일련의 쟁점 해결 과정을 사회과교육학적 교수·학습 모델과 구체적인 교수·학습 과정안으로 어 떻게 구축할 수 있는지를 고찰함을 목적으로 하였다. 먼저 최근 선행연구의 성과들을 검토한 결과, 비정 규직 근로자에 대한 개념과 쟁점이 사회과 교육과정 및 교과서의 내용 영역이나 내용 요소로서 명시적으 로 다루어진 예를 찾아보기 어려울 뿐만 아니라, 학습에 관한 논의 역시 구체적이지 못한 실정임을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 비정규직 근로자의 쟁점에 대한 사회과교육 차원의 내용 및 방법 구조를 순 차적으로 접근해 보았는데, 우선 비정규직 근로자 쟁점에 관한 교육 내용 구성을 위해서는 비정규직 근로 자의 정의, 비정규직 근로자 관련 현안 문제, 그들에게 보장될 권리, 정부의 고용 정책과 사회적 관심 등 을 학습하도록 설계하였다. 그리고 비정규직 근로자 쟁점에 관한 교육 방법 구성을 위하여 비정규직 근로 자 쟁점 해결 과정을 중심으로 한 갈등 상황 분석과 해결에 대한 실질적인 학습 과정을 반영한 비정규직 근로자 쟁점에 대한 교수·학습 방법 모형을 설계하였다.
