The purpose of this article that compares the interrelationships between educational objectives of university and educational objectives of writing and the writing course of the Daegu․Kyungpook Universities. As a result, first, there are differences between the educational objectives of the University that are nearly invisible, and secondly, between the University's educational objectives and writing course, there is the lack of correlation. Third, there are limits to achieve the objectives of the curriculum and writing instruction. For the above reasons whenever the senior administration of the university changes the entire writing educational system could become unstable. In order to fix this, first of all, they need to classify their university educational objectivess, and alsothis the objectives of education should be set up first. And, based on this, it is necessary to design an effective writing curriculum.

이 글에서는 대구 경북 지역 4년제 대학을 중심으로 대학의 교육 목표를 비교해 보고, 현재 각 대학의 교육 목표와 글쓰기 교육 목표, 그리고 글쓰기 교육의 목표와 글쓰기 교육과정 사이의 상관성을 검토해 보았다. 이를 통해 확인한 것은 첫째, 대 학들 간에 교육 목표의 차이점이 거의 보이지 않는다는 점, 둘째, 대학의 교육 목표와 글쓰기 교육의 목표 사이의 상관성이 부족하다는 점, 셋째, 글쓰기 교육과정이 글쓰기 교육의 목표를 달성하는 데 한계가 있다는 점 등이다. 바로 이러한 이유 때문에 총장이 바뀔 때마다 글쓰기 교육 체계 전체가 흔들리는 상황이 발생한다. 이를 해결하기 위해서는 우선 대학들이 교육 목표를 차별화할 필요가 있으며, 이에 걸맞은 글쓰기 교육의 목표를 설정해야 한다. 그리고 이를 바탕으로 효과적인 글쓰기 교육과정을 설계할 필요가 있다.
