This study introduced and Seokneungsugan which Kim Chang Hee received from a Chinese official who stationed in Joseon during the Im-O Military Revolt and examined the details of exchange in it. SeokneunAbstractgsugan which discovered recently contains 138 letters which were not known before. The recipient was Kim Chang Hee and there are 25 senders all of whom were staff officers of Oh Jang Gyeong of the Ching’s armed force. Seokneungsugan shows a feature of Korea-China exchange of the time. Firstly, it contains humanities based diplomatic tradition between Korea and China right after the Im-O Military Revolt. Secondly, it demonstrates diplomatic cooperation between the Ching’s armed forces stationing in Joseon and Kim Chang Hee. One is the military affair between Won Se Gye of China and Kim Chang Hee, and the other is the details of harmful effects of Dangojeon, a Joseon’s money raised by China. These letters are new that were not shown in existing historical documents. Besides, there are 10 letters sent by Won Se Gye who became the political power in China to Kim Chang Hee. In particular, poems of persons from China on Seokneung’s Damseol were new resources that have not been found anywhere. So, it is believed that those resources have literary value.
