The purpose of this study is to draw the strategy for the development of the private school support-related law, by analyzing the strength, the weakness and the environmental conditions of private school support-related law of Korea. For achieving this purpose the ideology and principles of social benefit administration were studied at first, by examining some research papers and representative reported materials on the social benefit administration. On the basis of the result of literature reviews on the social benefit administration., the criteria for analyzing private school support-related law were set up. And that, by means of SWOT analysis with relating to the previously set criteria. the strength, the weakness, the opportunity and the threat of the private school support-related law were studied. The main result and findings of this study with relating to the strategy for the development of the private school support-related law were suggested concretely in four types by reciprocal combination of the strength, the weakness, the opportunity and the threat as previously studied.

효율적인 사학정책 수립은 사학지원관계법과 밀접한 관련을 갖게 된다. 본 연구는 우리나라 사학지원 관계법의 강점･약점과 그 환경을 분석해보고 그것을 바탕으로 향후 사학지원관계법의 발전 전략을 도출하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 문헌분석적 접근을 통해 급부행정의 이념과 원리를 고찰하면서 사학지원관계법 분석준거 를 도출하고 있다. 아울러 지금까지의 사학 육성, 지원을 위한 일반적인 문제 중심의 진단과 달리, 설 정된 분석 준거에 의한 SWOT 분석을 통해 사학지원관계법이 가진 강점과 약점, 우호적 환경과 적대 적 환경을 분석하고 있다. 이를 통해 사학관련제도의 속성과 함께 그 환경에 대한 분석까지도 포함하 여 보다 더 입체적으로 현실을 파악하면서 사학지원관계법의 발전전략을 탐색하고 있다. 연구결과 현행 사학지원관계법이 지닌 강점, 약점, 기회요인, 위협요인 등을 상호 조합하여 4가지 유 형의 발전전략을 도출･제시하고 있다. 이와 함께 급부행정의 관점에서 사학 육성･지원이 이루어지고 사학지원관계법･제도가 정비되어야 함을 시사하고 있다.
