The research, as a foundational study for developing Christian child education program that is suitable for situational changes of Korea, is for the purpose of analyzing the Alta Vista curriculum and the Nuri curriculum, which promote Christian education process. It consists of an analysis of supplemented and modified basic assumption of the curriculum, the goal and objective of the education, the construction method of the contents, the organizational principle of the teaching and learning, the evaluation from, which is based upon Kim’s curriculum analysis criteria (2011) and Posner’s curriculum analysis criteria (2004). The results of the analysis are as follows. First, in the Alta Vista curriculum, the basic assumption of the curriculum holds the Christian Philosophical paradigm, with the basis of Christian worldview of Creation-Fall-Redemption; on the other hand, the Nuri curriculum is composed of the basic assumption, which is centered on humanism. Second, in relation to the educational goal and objective, the Alta Vista curriculum is intended only for the meanings of education, while the Nuri curriculum aims for the meanings of both education and training. Third, as for the construction method of the contents, the Alta Vista curriculum’s content system has the hierarchical structure and the spiral structure, and each chapter aims for children’s diverse and coherent experience about reality with 15 subjects and integrated construction; the Nuri curriculum’s content system has hierarchical structure which breaks down from content by level into the content, with each content having independent structure. Fourth, regarding the organization principle about the teaching and learning, there are 4 phases in the Alta Vista curriculum. Introducing, Representing, Practice, and Response, which serve the purpose of teaching process and all learning types through related content. The Nuri curriculum’s principle of teaching and learning consisted of playing, lives, integration, balance of the activity, individualization, interest and immersion, and interaction. Finally, as for the aspect of evaluation, while the Alta Vista curriculum assesses students by their individual aptitude, the Nuri curriculum’s evaluation is divided into the management evaluation and young children’s evaluation.

본 연구는 한국의 상황적 변화에 적합한 기독교 유아교육 프로그램을 개발하기 위한 기초 연구로서 기독교 교육 과정인 알타비스타 유아교육과정(이하 알타비스타 교육 과정)과 만5세 연령별 누리과정(이하 누리과정)을 비교 분석하는데 목적이 있다. Posner(2004)의 교육과정 분석 틀을 기초로 한 이윤선(2009)의 교육 과정 분석 질문과 김지현(2011)의 교육 과정 분석 준거를 수정 보완하여 교육 과정의 기초 가정, 교육 목적과 목표, 교육 내용의 구성 방식, 교수-학습 조직 원리, 평가를 중심으로 분석하였다. 그 결과는 첫째, 교육 과정의 기초 가정의 비교에서 알타비스타 교육과정은 창조-타락-구속의 기독교 세계관에 토대를 두고 기독교 철학적 패러다임을 취하고, 누리 과정은 인본주의에 입각한 인간 중심의 기본 가정을 토대로 구성하였다. 둘째, 교육 목적 및 목표와 관련하여 알타비스타 교육 과정의 경우 교육적 맥락을 의도한 반면 누리 과정에서는 교육적 맥락과 훈련적 맥락 두 가지 모두를 의도하고 있었다. 셋째, 교육 내용의 구성 방식에 있어서 알타비스타 교육 과정의 내용 체계는 위계적 구조와 나선형 구조이고 각 단원은 15개의 교과적 접근과 통합적 구성으로 실재에 대한 유아들의 다양하고 일관된 경험을 도모하였다. 누리 과정의 내용 체계는 수준별 내용, 내용 범주, 내용으로 연결되는 위계적 구조를 가지고 있었으며, 각각의 내용은 독립된 구조였다. 넷째, 교수-학습 측면에서의 조직 원리는 알타비스타 교육 과정이 연계성 있는 과정을 통한 학습 진행과 모든 학습 유형을 가르치도록 조직되어 들어가기(Introducing), 제시하기(Representing), 실행하기(Practice), 반응하기(Response)의 4단계로 구성되어 있었다. 누리 과정의 교수-학습 원리는 놀이 중심의 원리, 생활 중심의 원리, 통합의 원리, 활동 간 균형의 원리, 개별화의 원리, 흥미·몰입 중심의 원리, 상호 작용의 원리로 구성되어 있었다. 다섯째, 평가에 있어서 알타비스타 교육 과정은 학생들에 대한 평가를 개별적인 학생들의 재능의 관점에서 실시하며 누리 과정은 운영 평가와 유아 평가로 나누어 실행되는 것으로 나타났다.
