(1) The imperial editions consist of one Bunloku imperial edition in 1593, 10 Keichio imperial editions between 1597 and 1603, and one Genwa imperial edition in 1621. Among them, 8 Keichio imperial editions and 1 Bunloku imperial edition are still in existence. (2) The material for the type was wood. The type-making technique imitates script writing style and demonstrates quite sophisticated aesthetic touch of the character. Its technical level is upper-lower grade. (3) The typesetting technique shows evenly aligned vertical and lateral stripes of character trace. There are some skewed characters and lighter tones of ink color in some pages, yet the unevenness is minor. The technical level is upper-middle grade. (4) The brushing technique is fairly consistent, with very few incidences of uneven ink color thickness, chinese ink spreads, inadvertent marks of ink on the paper, and double printing. The technical level is upper-middle grade. (5) The type printing in each edition is of a similar quality, implying that the outputs were produced with the same types by the same master members. The typography level is upper-middle grade.

(1) 勅版에는 1593년의 文祿칙판 1종, 1597-1603년의 慶長칙판 10종, 1621년의 元和칙 판 1종이 있다. 이 중 慶長칙판 8종과 元和칙판 1종이 현존하고 있다. (2) 活字의 재질은 목재이다. 製作技術은 필서체의 필의를 표현하면서, 문자의 미감을 충분히 살린 세련된 수준이다. 기술 수준은 상하급. (3) 組版技術은 字跡의 行列이 가지런한 편이며, 삐뚤어진 문자와 墨色이 다소 연한 엽이 보이지만 정도차가 크지 않다. 기술 수준은 상중급. (4) 印出技術은 묵색의 농담 차이가 크지 않고, 墨汁의 번짐과 잡묵 그리고 이중 인출 등이 거의 보이지 않을 만큼 균정한 수준이다. 기술 수준은 상중급. (5) 각 판본의 인쇄기술 수준이 비슷하여 동일한 장인이 동일한 활자로 인쇄한 결과로 추론된다. 印刷技術 수준은 상중급에 해당한다.
