This study bibliographically dealt with Garyeo(家禮)books of Lee Hyung-sang (李衡祥), we also tried to analyse the backgrounds of compiling, time period, list of cited books so on. Compiling of Garyeo(家禮)books is achieved with active communication of comtemporary scholars at Hoyeon pavilion(浩然亭) in Youngcheon(永川) area of Gyungsang provinces. The books were also the outcome of Lee’s strong will and tenacity for learning. Despite of his passion and several revision, Garyeo(家禮)books didn’t published in public in the end. We could know Lee’s extensive learning and subdiscipline by the cited books included in Garyeopeongo(家禮便考), Garyeohoonmong(家禮訓 蒙) range over various theme. Lee tried to search far and wide various book and theory, setting up lots of argument about Garyeo(家禮) as well. We could know that he also has had lots of related books personally, comparing the two books.

본고에서는 李衡祥이 편찬한 ｢家禮｣書에 대해 서지적으로 살펴보고, ｢家禮｣書 편찬의 동기와 시․공간적 배경, 引用篇目에 나타난 특징 등에 대하여 분석하였다. ｢家禮｣書의 편찬은 당시의 시대적 배경, 지식인들 사이에 ｢家禮｣ 연구가 활발했던 지 역인 영천, 은거지이자 학문의 장소인 ‘浩然亭’이라는 공간적 배경과 함께 오랜 시간 그의 학문적 의지와 집념으로 이루어낸 것이다. 그러나 ｢家禮｣書는 완성된 이후 후손, 후학들에 의해 여러 번 수정․보완을 거치면서 간행이 시도되었으나 이루지 못하였다. ｢家禮便考｣와 ｢家禮訓蒙｣에 수록된 引用篇目에는 다양한 주제의 문헌이 포함되어 있 어 그의 폭넓은 학문관을 볼 수 있으며, 이를 참고하여 여러 문헌과 학설을 고증하면서 ｢家禮｣에 대해 실용적으로 정리하고자 하였다. 두 책에 수록된 인용편목으로 보아 ｢家禮 訓蒙｣을 편찬한 1708년 이전부터 상당한 양의 관련 문헌을 수집하여 소장하고 있었던 것 으로 나타났다.
