The existing theory for Eojebijanggeon which is in the First Tripitaka Koreana is that it was based on Eojebijanggeon, the Tripitaka Kaibao in Buk-Song(北宋), but completed by adding the originality and improving its weak points. Compared with the woodcut of Eojebijanggeon, the Tripitaka Kaibao, it has been recognized as an invaluable material which helps assume the style of landscape painting in the early Goryeo Period. The study presents a new perspective, different from the existing viewpoints, on on the base book and publication for the woodcut of Eojebijanggeon, the First Tripitaka Koreana. This study compares in detail and overall the woodcuts of Eojebijanggeon, the First Tripitaka Koreana with the four woodcuts in the thirteen volume of Eojebijanggeon, the Tripitaka Kaibao. As a result, it is found that the woodcuts of Eojebijanggeon, the First Tripitaka Koreana were engraved, using the woodcuts of Eojebijanggeon, the Tripitaka Kaibao. as their base. The result of this study, therefore, could confirm the need for reexamining the existing theories and research findings on the woodcuts of Eojebijanggeon, the First Tripitaka Koreana.

初雕藏 ｢御製秘藏詮｣ 판화에 대한 종래의 학설은 북송의 開寶藏 ｢御製秘藏詮｣ 판화 를 밑바탕으로 하면서도 독자성을 살리고 보태어 雕造된 것이었다. 따라서 개보장 ｢御製 秘藏詮｣ 판화와 비교해보면 고려회화의 독자성을 분명하게 알 수 있는 것으로 고려 초기 의 산수화풍을 짐작하는 데 매우 귀중한 자료로서 평가되어 왔다. 本稿는 이러한 초조장 ｢御製秘藏詮｣ 판화의 그 저본과 판각에 대해 종래의 견해와는 다른 입장에서 새롭게 고찰한 것이다. 즉 초조장 ｢御製秘藏詮｣에 삽입되어 있는 판화와 개보장 ｢御製秘藏詮｣ 제13권에 삽입되어 있는 4장의 판화와의 전체적이면서 정밀한 대조 분석을 진행한 것이다. 그 결과 초조장 ｢御製秘藏詮｣ 판화는 개보장 ｢御製秘藏詮｣의 판화가 그대로 登梓本으 로 사용되어 覆刻된 것으로 구명되었다. 궁극적으로 본 연구의 결과는 초조장 ｢御製秘藏詮｣ 판화에 대한 종래의 연구 결과 및 평가에 대한 재고가 필요함을 증명하는 하나의 단서가 될 것이다.
