In this research, the characteristics of various printed editions of Hwanghwajib published since the mid-15th century through the late 17th century were analyzed by examining the period and place of publication, number of volumes and books, printed editions, quality of papers, size, and the records of collection. It was investigated that Hwanghwajib published before Imjin Waeran included 17 editions printed in metal movable types. Among them, 8 editions were printed with First-cast Gabin-ja in the 15th century and 9 editions were printed in the 16th century. Hwanghwajib published after Imjin Waeran included 2 editions printed with metal movable types of which one was published with Third-cast Gabin-ja in the 17th century, and the other with the Late Ungak Inseoche-ja in the 18th century, and 35 editions printed with wooden types which contained 20 printed with Gabin-ja style Hullyon-Dogam-ja in the 17th century, one printed with Gapjin-ja style Hullyon-Dogam-ja and 14 printed with 20 printed with Byongja-ja style Hullyon-Dogam-ja. One transcribed copy, and one wood-block print in the 17th century and one in the 18th century were also investigated.

본 연구는 15세기 중엽부터 17세기말엽까지 편찬 간행된 ｢皇華集｣에 대한 刊行시기와 卷冊數, 版本, 紙質, 크기, 刊行장소, 藏書記 등을 비교 검토하여 ｢皇華集｣ 판본의 특징과 계통을 규명한 것이다. 壬辰倭亂 以前 ｢皇華集｣의 판본으로 金屬活字本은 총 17종으로 初鑄甲寅字本은 15 世紀에 8종, 16世紀 9종으로 조사되었다. 壬辰倭亂 以後 ｢皇華集｣의 금속활자본은 총 2종으로 17世紀 三鑄甲寅字本 1종, 18世 紀 後期芸閣印書體字本 1종으로 조사되었으며, 木活字本은 총 35종으로 17世紀 甲寅字 體 訓鍊都監字本 20종, 甲辰字體 訓鍊都監字本은 1종, 丙子字體 訓鍊都監字本은 14종 으로 筆寫本도 1종이 조사되었다. 木板本은 17世紀 1종, 18世紀 1종으로 조사되었다.
