The study aims to investigate the mediating effects of entrapment and defeat on the relationships between depressive vulnerability(self-criticism and rumination) and suicidal ideation. Structural equation modeling was used with data from four hundred undergraduate students participated in this study. First, it was examined whether depressive vulnerability(self-criticism and rumination) significantly influences entrapment and defeat, and whether entrapment and defeat mediate the relationship between depressive vulnerability (self-criticism and rumination) and suicidal ideation. As a result, entrapment and defeat fully mediated the relationship between depressive vulnerability(self-criticism and rumination) and suicidal ideation, indicating that depressive vulnerability(self-criticism and rumination) indirectly affect suicidal ideation through entrapment and defeat. Implications of the findings for therapeutic practice and limitations were discussed.

본 연구의 목적은 자기비난과 반추적 반응양식으로 구성된 우울취약성과 자살사고 간의 관계에서 속박패배감의 매개효과를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 대학생(N=400)을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 구조방정식을 적용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 먼저 우울취약성과 속박패배감이 자살사고에 유의미한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았고, 속박패배감이 우울취약성과 자살사고의 관계를 매개하는 모형을 설정한 후, 모형의 적합도 및 변인들의 직간접효과를 검증하였다. 연구결과, 속박패배감이 우울취약성과 자살사고의 관계를 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났고, 이는 자기비난과 반추적 반응양식 등 우울취약성이 속박패배감을 통해 자살사고에 간접적으로 영향을 미친다는 것을 시사한다. 마지막으로 본 연구 결과의 제한점과 자살관련 후속 연구 및 치료적 개입에 대한 제언을 논의하였다.
