This paper studies Kiriyama Kasane who is a typical Zenkyoto[All-Campus Joint Struggle Committee] generation writer. Kiriyama known as Partisan legend affair in the 1980’s announced the novel on 17 volumes during the writer life of the remainder eight years. The structure that most of these novels talks about Zenkyoto experience from the end of the 1960’s to the beginning of the 1970’s in the situation of the 1980’s is taken. And Kiriyama carries through his literature theme to a thing as a revolution and the struggle in this case. In this paper, I focused on the perspective to Korea and Okinawa of Kiriyama whom there was in the middle of All-Campus Joint Struggle movement. How are Korea and Okinawa drawn in the novels of Kiriyama? What kind of meanings have Korea and Okinawa to Kiriyama? To answer to these questions, I paid intensive attention and try to focus on the fictionalized process of Korea and Okinawa by Kiriyama’s novels. With a critical stance against the history of Japanese empire, he denying Japanese government attitude toward the Imperial history, trying to express his interpretations of the historical facts with the terms of «whore volunteered» in his novels. On the way of explanation of my thesis in this paper, I accept the idea of ‘Nanto[southern island]’ positive which is the major explanation in the field of vision in those days, and I try to analyze the works which represent the images of Korea and Okinawa. In Kiriyama’s representation of Okinawa, I can especially find out the similar structure with the idea of ‘Nanto’. But in novels of Kiriyama, I can confirm two things. The first, Korea and Okinawa has similarly treated because they has the same historical background which underlies the colonial rule of Japanese empire. Secondly, Okinawa like Korea is granted as ‘The 3rd World’ for the nation of Japan.

본 논문은 전형적인 전공투세대 작가 기리야마 가사네(桐山襲)를 연구대상으로 한다. 1980년대에 ‘｢빨치산전설｣사건’으로 기억되는 기리야마는 8년 남짓한 작가생활 동안 총17편의 소설을 발표했다. 1960년대 말에서 1970년대 초두의 전공투 체험을 1980년대적 상황에서 서술하는 것이 대부분인 기리야마의 작품은 혁명과 투쟁이라는 주제로 일관된 것이었다. 본 논문은 전공투운동 현장의 한가운데 있었던 기리야마의 한국과 오키나와에 대한 시각에 초점을 맞춘다. 그가 남긴 작품 중 한국과 오키나와에 대한 픽션화 과정에 주목하여 각각 어떠한 양태로 그려지고 있는지, 기리야마에게 있어 한국과 오키나와는 어떤 의미를 가지는지 살펴보았다. 한국과 오키나와를 표상하는 작품들을 중심으로 당시 언설의 중심에 있었던 ‘남도’론과의 관련 양상을 시야에 넣어 검토하였다. 기리야마의 제국주의 역사에 대한 태도는 일본정부가 부정하고 은폐하려는 역사적 사실을 부각시키고, 이에 대한 비판적 시각과 함께 ≪지원한 창부≫의식으로 표출되고 있었다. 오키나와 표상에 있어서는 당시의 ‘남도’언설과 유사한 구조를 보인다. 그러나 기리야마의 소설 속에서 한국과 오키나와는 일본제국의 식민지지배 역사라는 측면에서 동일한 지평에서 다루어지고 있었고, 오키나와도 한국과 마찬가지로 일본이라는 국가에 대해서는 ‘제3세계’로서 인식되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.
