This is an exploratory study that is presented to analyze the effect of social support on career decision level among vocational high school student in Daegu and Gyeongbuk area. Social supports are classified into family support, school's support, and corporate and community's support. A a consequence variable, career decision level is included. This study is designed to explore the effect of social support on career decision level. In addition, it also examines the moderating effect career decision self-efficacy between antecedent and consequence variable. Results show that family support and corporate and community's support have significant positive effects on career decision level. However, there was insufficient evidence to support the relationship between school's support and career decision level. In addition career decision self-efficacy has positive moderating effects on career decision level. These results that efforts to increase career decision level family support and corporate and community's support should be made and the support of school should be considered as a necessity to enhance career decision self-efficacy. Finally, limitations of the study and suggestions for future studies are presented.

본 연구는 대구경북지역의 특성화 고등학생에 대한 사회적 지원이 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향과 진로결정자 기효능감의 조절효과를 탐색적으로 분석하고 있다. 사회적 지원의 하위차원으로는 가족지원, 학교지원, 지역 사회 및 기업의 지원을 포함하는 협의의 사회지원을 사용하였으며, 제시한 변수들이 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향과 이들 간의 관계에 진로결정자기효능감의 조절효과를 분석 하기 위하여 연구가설을 설정하였다. 실증분석의 결과, 가족지원 및 사회지원이 많을수록 진로결정수준이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 학교지원은 진로결정수준에 대한 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났으며, 진로결정자기효능 감은 학교지원과 진로결정수준에 정(+)의 조절효과를 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결 과를 토대로, 특성화고등학생의 진로결정수준을 높이기 위해서는 가족지원과 지역사회 및 유관기관의 관심 및 사회지원을 통해서 취업과 관련한 진로결정수준을 높여 주어야 하며, 학교지원은 학생 들의 진로결정수준을 높여 줄 수 있도록 진로결정과 관련된 자기효능감을 높일 수 있는 실질적이고 구체적인 지원이 필요하다는 점을 시사하고 있다. 마지막으로 연구의 한계점 및 향후 연구를 위한 제언이 제시된다.
