Jesus was the master of questioning in his time. He used many questions in accordance to his educational intentions. He often used questions to make contact with his people, to arouse interest and guide thought of his followers, to probe for motives of his enemies, to promote thinking or reflection, to pull persons up short, to persuade critics of their errors, and to confront his disciples for their spiritual growth. The questioning method is still effective in today’s church education. As Christian educators, we need to actively use this teaching method in our classroom for effective educational processes and outcomes.

본 논문은 위대한 교사이신 예수님의 교육 방법론 중에 질문법의 목적과 활용에 대한 연 구이다. 예수님은 복음서에서 교육적인 목적을 위하여 수 많은 질문을 하셨고 대답하셨 다. 특히 사람들과 관계를 맺기 위한 질문, 흥미를 불러 일으키는 질문, 대적자들의 동기 를 파악하기 위한 질문, 사고를 촉진시키기 위한 질문, 관심을 끌기 위한 질문, 설득하는 질문, 그리고 제자들의 영적 성장을 촉진시키기 위한 질문 등을 하셨다. 이러한 예수님 의 질문법은 오늘날 교회교육의 현장에서도 매우 유용하게 쓰일 수 있는 원리를 제공한 다. 따라서 교회교육을 담당하는 교사와 같은 가르치는 자는 이러한 질문법을 적극적으로활용하여 성경교수에 활용하여야 할 것이다.
