In this paper, I shall discuss the characteristics of 21st century evangelical Christian education in Korea, especially that of the interdisciplinarity of Christian education. In order to discuss the interdisciplinarity as a tendency of 21st century science, the concept of disciplinarity and its similar concepts were compared and analyzed. And the necessity of interplinarity will be enlightened in terms of the development of society. Because the development of society its relations with other sciences beyond the independent theory of science and its problem solving methodology in pursuing the science researches. To discuss this theses, in this paper, first of all, the papers related to Christian education published in Korea are analyzed, that is, Gospel and Education by The society of evangelical Christian education in Korea, Bible and Theology by The Korea evangelical theological society, and the proceedings of The society of evangelical Christian education in Korea. On the basis of this, the disciplinarity in studying the 21st century evangelical Christian education was discussed. Through the research, the tendency of the present evangelical Christian education can be glimpsed and suggests the direction where to go and how to be developed.

본 연구논문에서는 21세기 한국복음주의 기독교교육학의 성격에 대하여 특히 기독 교교육학의 간학문적 성격에 대하여 논의하였다. 여기에서 먼저 21세기의 학문의 경향으로서의 간학문에 대하여 논의를 하였는데 이러한 논의를 위하여 간학문의 개 념과 그 유사한 개념들에 대하여 비교분석하였다. 그리고 이러한 간학문의 필요성 을 제시함에 있어서 그 원인을 사회의 발전에서 살펴보았다. 왜냐하면 사회의 발전 은 학문연구에 있어서도 독자적인 학문이론과 문제해결방법을 넘어서 타학문과의 연계를 요구하기 때문이다. 이러한 논의를 위하여 이 논문에서는 복음주의 학회에 서 연구되고 발표된 기독교교육 관계의 논문들 즉, 한국복음주의 기독교교육학회 의 논문집인『복음과 교육』, 한국복음주의 신학회의 논문집『성경과 신학』에 게재된 논문 중 기독교교육학 관련 논문들, 그리고 복음주의 기독교교육학회의 논문발표 회 때 발표된 논문들을 분석하여 21세기 복음주의 기독교교육학 연구에 있어서의 간학문성을 논의하였다. 이러한 연구는 현재의 복음주의 기독교교육학의 흐름을 보여주고 이 학문이 앞으로 어떻게 연구되고 발전되어야 할지를 보여주고 있다.
