- The purpose of this study is to verify the current state of farm-stay operation and various difficulties of manager in an operating farm stay. To accomplish this purpose of the study , the case study of successful farm-stay operation in the advanced countries on rural tourism had been performed and the guideline of in-depth interview had been made through the case study. In the result, the most serious difficulties in operating farm-stay among other difficulties were the laundry and management or control of linens and cleaning rooms at a farm-stay. On basis of these results, the necessity of Central Houskeeping Center(CHC) is suggested. To explain the concept of Central Housekeeping Center, it provide the cooperative laundry, purchase, management and changing linen service as well as the cleaning room service for the farm-stay manager in an unit of county or city to help the revitalization of farm-stay operation. This CHC could help reduce the farm-stay operation costs for a manager and guarantee the reasonable quality of room products for a demander of farm-stay. It will provide the basis of the advanced farm-stay operation structure which could help reduce the farm-stay operation costs for a farm-stay supplier and guarantee the standardized quality of room products for a farm-stay demander.

- 본 연구는 농촌관광 선진국의 성공적인 농가민박운영 사례를 살펴보고, 이를 바탕으로 국내 민박 운영주들의 운영현황 및 각종 애로사항과 문제점 등을 파악하기 위한심층면담 가이드라인을 작성하여 심층면담을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 민박운영주들이 공통적으로 겪고 있는 애로사항 중 가장 많은 어려움을 호소하는 분야가 민박 객실의린넨류 세탁 및 관리와 민박 객실 청소로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 토대로 향후 민박 운영활성화에 실질적인 도움을 줄 수 있는 방안으로 공동 세탁 및 청소관리 시스템의 의미를 지닌 센트럴 하우스키핑 센터(CHC)’ 도입을 통하여 읍, 면 단위를 기준으로 공동으로 린넨류를 교체, 세탁, 관리 그리고 구매함과 더불어 민박 객실 청소 서비스를 제공함으로써 민박 공급자에게는 민박 운영원가 감축에 실질적인 도움을 주고,민박 이용객들에게는 질 높은 민박 객실의 품질을 보증해 줌으로써 선진 민박운영체계 마련을 위한 그 기초를 제공하고자 한다.

- 본 학회는 2003년부터 동북아 경상연구회의 회원들을 중심으로 동북아 지역의 학회참석을 계기로 한중일 관광학회의 중요성을 인식하게 되었습니다. 특히 우리와 인접국인 일본, 중국의 동북아 지역은 관광인적교류에서 중요한 국가이며, 상대국 또한 그 중요성을 간과할 수 없는 현실입니다. 따라서 본 학회는 한중일 3국에 학회지부회를 두어 3국의 학자들을 중심으로 관광연구를 활성화하는데 있습니다. 본 학회의 사업내용을 보면, 첫째, 연2회 이상 학술발표회를 개최합니다. 특히, 학술발표회는 동북아지역의 인적교류확대방안, 동북아지역의 산관학의 협력강화방안에 관한 사업 내용을 중심으로 연구발표회를 개최합니다. 둘째, 동북아지역의 연구자들을 중심으로 한국어, 영어, 중국어, 일어를 사용한 동북아 관광연구저널을 연 2회 이상 발행하여 동북아지역의 국제저널로서의 위상정립을 합니다. 셋째, 한,중,일 우수연구자의 저서를 상대국언어로 번역출판하며 한,중,일 연구자들을 중심으로 전문저서를 공동저술 합니다.
