This study has a purpose on confirming how much employment support policy of university effects on employment outcomes using quantitative and qualitative research, when youth employment is in serious economic condition. To achieve the study’s purpose, first the 2010GOMS data of KEIS which is suitable for analysis of labor market outcomes of college graduates was used. Using SPSS 18.0, It is performed quantitative study on this data with regression analysis. This quantitative study is about the relation among location, graduation grade, employment support program of university which are university variables and wages, firm size of company. Also, through qualitative case analysis, unity research is conducted that complements quantitative research related to university variables and employment outcomes. The result of study is as follows. First, it is confirmed that factor which affects employment outcomes has positive effect on monthly income. Especially, it show that location of university and participation rate in employment support program of university have much influence on monthly income. Second, the study show factort that affects employment outcomes has positive effect on firm size. It is confirmed university variables have a meaningful relation with the firm size. The result of qualitative research is similar as well.

이 연구는 청년취업이 심각한 상황에서 대학의 취업지원정책이 어느 정도 취업성과에 영향을 미치고 있는가를 양적, 질적 통합연구를 통해 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 연구목적 달성을 위해 첫째, 대졸청년층의 노동시장 성과분석에 적합한 한국고용정보원의 2010GOMS 데이터를 사용하였다. 이 데이터를 SPSS 18.0을 통해 중다회귀분석을 통한 양적연구를 실시하였다. 이 양적 연구는 대학변인인 대학소재지, 졸업평점, 취업지원프로그램과 취업직장의 임금과 기업규모와의 관계를 알아보았다. 또한 이 대학변인과 취업성과와 관련한 질적 사례분석을 통해 양적연구를 보완하는 통합연구를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 취업성과에 영향을 미치는 대학변인은 월소득에 정적(+)인 효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 대학소재지와 대학취업지원 프로그램 참여 정도가 월소득에 많은 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 취업성과에 영향을 미치는 대학 변인은 기업체 규모에 정적(+)인 효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 대학소재지와 대학졸업평점, 대학취업지원 프로그램 참여 정도는 기업체 규모와 유의미한 관계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 질적 사례연구 결과 역시 비슷한 결과를 나타내고 있다. 본 연구는 이 연구결과를 토대로 지방대학 출신자 일정 비율 채용 권고와 학점인플레이션을 포함한 졸업학점 인정제도 개선, 그리고 효과적인 취업지원정책 마련 등을 제안하였다.
