The purpose of this paper is to describe the syntactic features and meanings of [teki(的)] including a clause in modern Japanese. Originally the form [teki(的)] taking a morpheme or a word as the preceding basis can be regarded as lexical suffix. But it also can be considered as a compound particle or auxiliary verb when it is preceded by a clause. Because [teki(的)] including a clause can be approved the mark of quotation and indicate the epistemic modality. [teki(的)] including a clause shows informal, euphemistic and prevalent properties. I estimate that the tendency of using [teki(的)] including a clause would be more popular in the future Japanese.

본고의 목적은 현대 일본어에서 절을 포섭하는 ｢的｣의 통어적 특성과 의미용법에 관하여 고찰하여 보는 것이다. 원래 형태소나 단어를 語基로 취하는 어휘적이고 접미사적인 ｢的｣이 문 레벨의 절을 선행부분으로 포섭하는 경우, 통어적이고 생산적인 복합사나 조동사와 같은 용법으로 기능하고 있다. 이는 ｢的｣가 文中에서｢というよう(な)｣와 유사한 완곡적인 인용표식으로서의 기능이 인정되며, 문말에서는 ｢だ｣와 결합하여 인식적 모달리티를 나타낼 수 있기 때문이다. 이와 같이 節을 포섭하는｢的｣는 비공식적이고 우회적이며 주로 젊은 층이 웹상에서 다용하며 유행어적인 성격을 보이고 있는데, 향후 일본어에서 節을 포섭하는 ｢的｣를 사용하는 경향이 더욱 두드러질 것으로 예상된다.
