This paper deals with women entrepreneurship policy case of which Sweden has propelled pro-actively though the number of women workers prevailed it of women entrepreneurs, while entrepreneurship is well known to contribute to create employment opportunities, promote economic progress and tax income of central and local government. Recently increasing our women’s economic activity rate, Sweden’s case would provide with implicative lesson in the sense that an entrepreneur could create a “work-progress-welfare”outcome. Then, the aim of this paper is to find implication to adapt to our reality, drawing relevant policy paradigm from analysing the policy environment, and propelling systems of Sweden. As a result it draws implication as follows. First, it needs to stir an active institutional support and boom on women entrepreneurship in the level of government. Second, it should rapidly promote the study on women entrepreneurship. Third, entrepreneurship policy study should be treated on the perspective of gender. Fourth, it needs institutionalized network system linking the universities as the center of educational courses and operating programmes with pre-university schools selecting proper one among those programmes for themselves

이 논문은 기업가정신(entrepreneurship)이 고용기회를 창출하고 경제성장을 촉진시키며 국가와 지방정부의 세수에 기여하는 것으로 알려진 가운데 여성의 경제활동참가율은 높지만 여성기업가보다 여성근로자 수가 월등히 많은 스웨덴이 여성기업가정신(women entrepreneurship)을 선도적으로 추진하고 있는 정책사례를 다룬다. 최근 여성의 사회참여가 급증하고 있는 우리의 현실에 비추어볼 때 여성기업가가 일자리-성장-복지를 도모할 수 있다는 점에서 스웨덴의 여성기업가정신정책 추진사례는 교훈적 함의를 제공하게 될 것이다. 따라서 이 논문의 목적은 스웨덴의 선도적인 여성기업가정신정책 사례를 중심으로 정책추진체계와 주요 전략을 분석, 적실성 있는 정책 패러다임을 도출함으로써 향후 우리의 현실에 적용가능한 함의를 모색하는데 있다. 사례분석 결과, 도출된 함의는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여성기업가정신정책 육성에 대한 정부 차원의 적극적인 제도적 지지와 붐 조성이 필요하다. 둘째, 여성기업가정신정책에 대한 연구가 조속히 이루어져야 한다. 셋째, 젠더적 관점에서 여성기업가정신정책을 다루어야 한다. 넷째, 대학이 주도하여 교육과정을 개발하고 프로그램을 운영하되 일선 초중고교가 프로그램을 자율적으로 선택하도록 하는 제도적 연계가 필요하다.
