This study was to investigate whether the heads of state such as President of the guard being performed properly navigate through the difficulties of the Public Security.In order to achieve these objectives, and practitioners working in the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Executive Office of the President Guard and 45 patients were conducted in-depth interviews, Analysis, Nvivo utilizing a recently developed qualitative analysis program during the final four categories were derived. Categories identified through the categorization Protection Organization of psychological difficulties, Operational difficulties, Organization and cultural difficulties, Category was drawn to the organization's configuration difficulty. Subjects psychological ① psychological aspects of the organization's difficulties as the type of guard findings is the importance of the 49 (56.32%), Guard is a psychological state of the subjects difficulty 26 (29.88%), Guard due to the threat of Stress 7 (8.04%), Psychological training of guard member 5 (5.74%) were categorized in order. ② difficult to look at the type of organization operating aspects of overwork 47 (58.02%), Behavioral Constable of those dolbang 24 (29.62%), Causing inconvenience to the public of 7 (8.75%), Difficulty 3 (3.75%) traffic control were categorized in order. ③ difficult to look at the type of organization and cultural aspects of authoritarian chain of command 48 (60.00%), inter-organizational conflicts 26 (32.50%), Instruction 6 (7.50%), Constable of the subjects were categorized in order. ④ aspects of organizational difficulties you look at the type of mutual cooperation 44 (62.86%), 26 (37.14) were categorized as individual differences. Research based on the results of a representative of the Public Security overwork the difficulty of the mission, authoritarian chain of command, Constable subjects psychological state, Conclusions of mutual cooperation.

이 연구는 공경호원의 어려움을 탐색하여 대통령과 같은 국가정상의 경호의 수행이 적절히 되고 있는지의 여부를 파악하고자 하였다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 대통령 경호실과 서울지방경찰청에 근무하고 있는 현장 종사자 45명을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하였고, 분석결과, 질적분석 프로그램 중에 최근에 개발된 Nvivo 8 활용하여 최종 4개의 범주가 도출되었다. 범주화를 통하여 도출된 범주로는 경호조직의 심리적 어려움, 운용적 어려움, 조직 문화적 어려움, 조직의 구성적 어려움 등이 이었다. 연구결과 ①조직 심리적 측면의 어려움 유형으로 경호대상자 심리상태 인지의 중요성 49(56.32%), 경호대상자 심리상태 인지의 어려움 26(29.88%), 경호위협에 따른 스트레스 7(8.04%), 경호원의 심리학적 교육 부재 5(5.74%) 순으로 범주화되었다. ②조직 운용적 측면의 어려움 유형을 살펴보면 과로 47(58.02%), 경호대상자의 돌발행동 24(29.62%), 일반인의 불편초래 7(8.75%), 교통통제의 어려움 3(3.75%) 순으로 범주화되었다. ③조직 문화적 측면의 어려움 유형을 살펴보면 권위적 명령체계 48(60.00%), 조직간 갈등 26(32.50%), 경호대상자의 지시 6(7.50%) 순으로 범주화되었다. ④조직 구성적 측면의 어려움 유형을 살펴보면 상호협력 44(62.86%), 개인차이 26(37.14) 순으로 범주화되었다. 연구결과를 토대로 대표적인 공경호의 어려움은 업무상 과로, 권위적 명령체계, 경호대상자 심리상태 인지, 상호협력 이라는 결론을 도출하였다.
