The aim of this study is to change the negative perception of moral education of the reserve students. This study consists of the process and contents that students make research on people’s perception of moral education in the lecture on the name of elementary moral education. The people’s perception of something from experience are difficult to change. This perception has a deep effect on state of affairs after that time. The reserve students’ negative perception of moral education was formed their experience. That influence is too intensive to change. But that need to be changed. I try to seek for the teaching methods(Action Learning, Team Based Learning). This paper are results of research that students accomplished in lesson. I take aim at changing the reserve students’ preception of moral education. They research on the hypothesis that people(elementary students, middle school students, high school students, teachers, parent, reserve students) give thought to moral education ( ). Because that is ( ). Therefore moral education will be ( ). The methods are question, interview, debate and documents in the research process. Research process is composed with the stage of verification of hypothesis and the stage resetting up if it has mistakes. The reserve students have an opportunity to changing thinking of moral education. There are many theoretical and methodical research paper on moral education, but there is little research paper on experience and valuation. It stands in need of actual research results on the moral education. The subjects of students’ study are elementary students, middle school students, high school students, parents, teachers, and reserve students which having diverse points. Perhaps, the reserve students have an opportunity to change their perception of moral education through the process stage of this research.

본 논문은 예비교사들의 도덕교육에 대한 인식을 변화시키기 위하여, 교육대학 강좌의 하나인 ‘초등도덕과교육1’의 교수-학습 과정에서 학생들이 수행하였던 ‘도덕교육에 대한 인식’의 탐구 과정 및 내용을 분석한 것이다. 인간의 경험에 의한 인식은 쉽게 변하지 않으며, 이후의 경험에 지대한 영향을 미친다. 예비교사들의 초․중․고 시절의 도덕교육 경험에 대한 부정적 인식은 이후 도덕교육을 담당할 때 선입견으로 작용하기 때문에 변화시켜 줄 필요가 있다. 이를 위해 필자는 강좌에서 다양한 교수법을 통하여 그들의 인식 변화를 모색하였는데, 액션 러닝(Action Learning, AL)과 팀 베이스드 러닝(Team Based Learning, TBL)을 도입하여 팀 활동을 중심으로 한 다양한 방법을 적용하며 그들이 그 과정에서 즐거운 도덕을 경험하게 하고자 하였다. 그 중 탐구 방법은, 예비교사들이 도덕교육에 대한 인식을 조사․탐구함으로써 도덕교육의 중요성을 인식케 하여 변화를 끌어내고자 한 것이다. 탐구의 기본 가설 형태는 “한국 ( )들은 도덕교육을 ( )이라고 생각한다. 왜냐하면 ( )이기 때문이다. 도덕교육은 ( )이 되어야 한다.”이다. 탐구 활동은 가설 설정과 검증 단계, 재구성과 보고서 작성 및 발표로 이루어졌으며, 설문, 인터뷰, 토론 등 다양한 방법으로 검증하고 재구성하면서 현재 도덕교육의 위상을 살펴보는 계기도 되었다. 우리의 도덕교육 관련 연구는 이론적․규범적인 결과물은 많으나 경험적․평가적 연구는 미흡한 편으로, 현실을 반영한 이러한 연구가 필요하다 하겠다. 본 연구는 조사 대상을 초등학생, 중학생, 고등학생, 학부모, 교사, 예비교사 등 다양하게 구성하여 도덕교육에 대한 인식을 탐구하였다. 이 과정을 통해 예비교사들의 도덕교육에 대한 인식이 변화하는 계기가 되었기를 기대한다.
