Government enacts political supporting foundation like “general methods for promoting information oriented university“. Based on the political foundation, universities are accepting the ERP solution by next generation administrative information system in the university. However, most of the universities have not assured the suitability about ERP system in university and how successful it is. This study analyzes problems of current ERP system in university. For solving these problems, this study suggests an agile method as alternative plan. This study research that combination of agile method and existed methods could affect the ERP project’s success in university, and it could be effective to manage the project. As the result of this study, it is suggested that the agile method should apply effectively. It is assured that the adoption of the agile method must be needed to success of the ERP project in university. Especially, by accepting the agile method for user requirements, this study finds effects of the agile method in general management, human resource management, and communication management. Procurement management is not accepted, because it is not included in the research scope among nine management projects. This study assures effects of the agile method, so that they can be found that the alternations of changing user requirements and the importance of communications. And also, as accepting the agile method, they are suggested that project managers and leader’s roles and key indicators to prevent failures by analyzing interferences of accepting the agile methods.

본 연구에서는 기존 대학 ERP 시스템 문제점을 분석하고, 이를 해결하기 위한 방법으로 최근 대두되고 있는 애자일 방법론 적용을 대안으로 제시하고 연구를 진행하였다. 기존의 방법론과 애자일 방법론의 접목이 대학 ERP 프로젝트 성공에 영향을 미치는지와 프로젝트관리 측면에서의 효과를 분석하기 위해 실증연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 애자일 방법론을 효과적으로 적용할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고 대학 ERP 프로젝트 성공을 위해 애자일 방법론 도입이 필요함을 확인하였다.
특히 사용자 요구사항 대응에 애자일 방법론을 적용함으로써 프로젝트관리 9가지 지식영역 중 연구범위에 포함되지 않는 조달관리를 제외한 통합관리, 인적자원관리, 의사소통관리 측면에서의 효과를 확인함에 따라 대학 ERP 프로젝트 성공을 위해 사용자 요구 사항 변화에 대한 대응과 커뮤니케이션의 중요성을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 애자일 방법론을 도입함에 있어 프로젝트관리자 및 프로젝트 리더의 역할을 제시하고 애자일 도입 장애 요소 분석을 통해 실패방지 주요지표를 제시하였다.
