This study carried out a research on the experience of forgiveness in couple crisis and marriage satisfaction to promote activation of church social work. The results of this empirical study are as follows. First, as the male is young, period of marriage is short, have high level of education, does not have any religion and have high monthly income they tend to show high level of forgiveness and marriage satisfaction through examining the general properties. Second, the relationship between the problem that causes the crisis and forgiveness and the relationship between crisis problem and marriage satisfaction showed difference in average and variance in every part between groups and as the level of forgiveness is high the marriage satisfaction tended to be high. The results of this study calls for a need to carry out forgiveness intervention program for the church congregation, who are the basis of the church, and community members in order to activate church social work and implies the necessity of development and management of marriage enrichment program for middle-aged and elderly couples.

이 연구는 부부의 위기에 대한 용서경험과 결혼만족도를 조사한 것이다. 이를 통해 교회사회사업의 활성화를 도모하고자 하였다. 실증조사를 통한 주요 연 구 결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일반적 특성을 살펴보면, 남성이면서 연령이 낮고, 결혼년수가 짧으며 학력이 높고 종교가 없거나 월소득이 높을수 록 용서의 정도와 결혼만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 위기를 초래하는 문제와 용서와의 관계, 위기문제와 결혼만족도와의 관계는 모든 영역에서 집 단간의 의미한 평균 및 변량(variance)차이를 보였으며, 용서의 수준이 높을 수록 결혼만족도가 높았다. 본 연구의 결과는 교회사회사업 활성화를 위해 교 회의 기초가 되는 교인을 비롯한 지역사회 주민을 대상으로 용서개입프로그램 을 실시하는 것이 필요하며, 중장년 및 노년부부에 대한 부부관계강화 프로그 램이 개발·운영되어야 함을 시사하고 있다.
