- A gap of lyric and will, or sentimentalism and realism of Oh Jang Whan poems be in connection emotion of sadness intimately. Commonly, sadness is emotion belong to lyric or sentimentalism. But from Oh Jang Whan poems sadness is affect will of very hard to work to realism. That is not stay such as hopelessness or resignation appreciate of level. Poetic self and solidarity with object appear and reach to social semantic network. Oh Jang Whan shows negative consciousness, but on the one hand become have desire about source world. But hard to work cause want be realist Oh Jang Whan is incite his will inhibit fall out root world. That impetus is in Oh Jang Whan poems ironic emotion titled sadness. He read introspection, purification and consolation into emotion titled sadness, find to solidarity with object through a medium sadness. Finally, center of problem like negativity, one's hometown, mother, realism flowing sense about eternal nature meanwhile pass unnoticed emotion titled sadness.
