In development of the modern industrial society, there are many positive sides in terms of improving human's material influence but, economic crimes with the number of antisocial behavior have occurred in the process of economic activity with the name of the pursuit of profits. With the rapidly changing economic environment, economic crimes become more professional, intelligent, methodical, and it has bad influences whole national economy. Because of the need of the effective and efficient measures, in this study, the followings are suggested some countermeasures. First of all, professional investigative personnel must be required training to expand opportunities for the acquisition of economy-related knowledge then, arranged. Second, the economic crime investigation department should be organized, but operating professionals should acquire enough economy-related knowledge. Third, promotional activities should be carried out to reduce damage, and reporting system should be activated not to expand other victims. Fourth, crackdown cooperation of between relevant institutions should be organized to improve the ability of coping with economic crimes, and it also counteract quickly in the rapid change of the economic environment. Fifth, weighing of an offense should be rationalized, and punishments about economic crime should confirm the efficiency. Sixth, the regulations for money laundering should be strengthened. Seventh, the confiscation system should be used actively.

현대 산업사회의 발전은 인간생활을 물질적인 면에서 향상시켰다는 긍정적인 측면도 있으나 이윤추구라는 경제활동과정에서 수많은 반사회적 행위로서의 경제범죄가 발생하였다. 빠르게 변화되고 있는 경제환경과 더불어 경제범죄도 갈수록 전문적, 지능적, 조직적으로 발전되고 있어 국민경제 전체에 막대한 악영향을 미치고 있다. 이에 경제범죄에 대한 효과적이고 효율적인 대책마련이 필요하다고 보며 이에 본 연구에서는 다음과 같은 몇 가지 대응방안을 제시해 보았다. 첫째, 수사요원들에게 경제관련 전문지식의 습득 기회를 확대하여 전문적인 수사요원을 양성해야 한다. 둘째, 경제범죄 수사전담부서를 편성․운영하되, 경제관련 전문지식을 충분히 습득한 전문 인력을 배치하도록 해야 한다. 셋째, 피해를 줄이기 위하여 대국민적인 홍보활동을 펼치고 다른 피해자가 발생하기 않도록 신고제도를 활성화해야 한다. 넷째, 관련기관간의 단속협력체제를 구축하여 경제범죄 대처 능력을 향상시키고 급속한 경제 환경 변화에 신속하게 대응하여야 한다. 다섯째, 양형을 합리화하고 경제범죄에 대한 처벌이 실효성을 거둘 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다. 여섯째, 자금세탁에 대한 규제를 강화하여야 한다. 일곱째, 몰수제도를 적극 활용하여야 한다.
