The mixture complex is built to solve social exclusion raised by supplying the public rental housing, offering the places for people of various classes to live in a one collective housing area. The goal of mixture complex is achieving social mix that reduces class distintion and have a good understanding each other. This thesis aims to research what are the important factors to make a well organized social mix by comparing two actual districts. It was found a good social mix in Neunggok where has spatial compositions which do not discriminate between condominium apartment and rented apartment and various active communities. Spatial composition without distinction in a same district makes people to be neighbors with close relation. Social mix would be accomplished based on this kind of understanding. Therefore, to achieve its goal, it is essential to make a spatial composition without distinctions between condominium and rented apartment.

임대주택을 공급하면서 발생하였던 사회적 배제문제를 해결하기 위해 다양한 계층을 한 공간에 거주하도록 하는 혼 합단지가 건설되었다. 혼합단지의 목표는 계층 간 차별을 줄이고 교류와 소통이 이루어지는 사회적 혼합을 달성하는 것이다. 네트워크가 존재하는 사회적 혼합을 이루는 데 무엇을 고려해야하는지 알아보기 위해 사회적 혼합이 이루어진 단지와 그렇 지 않은 단지를 비교분석하였다. 결론적으로 분양과 임대를 구분하지 않은 공간구성과 활발한 주민 활동이 있는 능곡지구에 서 사회적 혼합이 이루어지고 있었다. 이는 차별 없는 공간구성이 서로 한 지구에 사는 가까운 이웃이라는 인식을 형성하는 데 도움을 주었고 이런 인식을 바탕으로 원만한 이웃관계가 존재하는 혼합이 가능하게 된 것이다. 따라서 사회적 혼합을 목 표로 하는 혼합단지를 건설할 때 먼저 고려해야하는 것은 적절한 공간구성이다.
