본 연구는 청소년을 대상으로 자기주도학습 프로그램이 자기관리, 학습 방법개선, 결과이미지에 미치는 영향을 분석함으로써 자기주도학습 프로그 램을 통한 학습의 효율성을 학교 교육현장에서 적용하고 활용함으로 자기 주도학습 프로그램을 발전시키고 활성화하는데 기초를 제공하고자 한다. 연구방법으로는 문헌연구와 설문조사를 병행하였으며, 설문조사는 인천시 에 소재하고 있는 중학교 4개교 학생들이 자기주도학습 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단 총 126명과 통제집단 총 122명을 대상으로 자료를 분석하여 실시 하였다. 본 연구에서는 자기주도학습의 프로그램에 참여하는 학생들의 자 기주도학습 프로그램을 통한 학습자의 자기관리, 학습방법개선, 결과이미 지와 학습의 효율성을 측정하기 위하여 본 연구자가 개발한 자기주도학습 의 프로그램과 학습의 효율성에 대한 검사 척도를 사용하였다. 분석결과, 자기주도학습의 하위요인인 공부이유, 교과서, 복습, 읽기능력학습과 학습 의 효율성의 하위요인인 자기관리전략, 학습방법개선전략, 결과이미지전략 의 통제집단과 실험집단의 사전동질성이 성립되는 것으로 나타났다. 학습 의 결과이미지전략의 공분산 분석, 학습의 효율성의 하위요인인 학습의 결 과이미지전략이 통계적으로 집단간의 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연 구결과를 통해 자기주도학습의 프로그램을 학교교육현장에서 뿐만 아니라 자율학습 활동에서도 학습의 전략적인 학습방법을 활용 및 적용하여 학습 을 효율적으로 할 필요성이 있음을 알 수 있다. 학습자의 자기관리에 대한 결과이미지가 구체적일수록 학습의 효율성이 높으며, 학습방법개선을 통한 미래의 성공적인 결과이미지를 구체화 및 시각화할수록 학습의 효율성이 높다.
