Currently research related to industrial security is establishing its academic identity and constructing a scholarly discipline via the conceptualization and theorization of industrial security, and is increasingly growing both quantitatively and qualitatively. In this respect, for the explication of academic trends in the field of industrial security, this study has been carried out to understand the hidden food chain among research subjects beyond a superficial analysis on the side of ‘research subjects.’ That is to say, this study takes a more quantitative and objective approach to the trends in the field of industrial security by connecting the analysis of contents and the technique of semantic network. The results from the study can be summarized as follows. First, as a result of the analysis of research in industrial security via the technique of semantic network, we can see that the keyword ‘security policies’ is placed in the most important position, and next ‘industrial technology & corporate,’ ‘countermeasures & outflow blocking,’ and ‘legal protection & industrial espionage’ show high connective centrality. Second, as for discussion on the side of the methodology of research trend analysis, we can get the lesson that various methodologies including the network analysis to which quantitative and qualitative methods are applicable simultaneously, beyond the existing level of frequency analysis in the methodology of research trends.

최근 산업보안 관련 연구는 산업보안의 개념화 및 이론화를 통해 학문적인 정체성 확립과 학문적 영역을 구축하고 있으며, 양적으로나 질적으로 많은 성장을 거듭하고 있다. 또한 융합학문 차원에서 산업보안에 대한 다각적인 연구가 진행되고 있으나, 아직까지 산업보안의 학문적 입지는 현실적ㆍ실무적인 측면에서 산업보안의 개념화 및 이론화의 시작단계라고 할 수 있고, 이에 따라 산업보안의 독자적인 학문적 영역도 학자마다 의견이 분분하다. 따라서 이러한 산업보안 관련 최근 연구논문들의 분석을 통하여 산업보안 연구의 경향성 내지 패턴을 살펴봄으로써 산업보안의 학문적 영역을 되새길 필요가 있다. 이러한 맥락에서 이 연구에서는 산업보안의 연구주제 분석을 통해 산업보안의 연구경향을 분석하고자 한다. 이 연구는 기존 연구들과 같이 빈도 위주의 연구경향에서 탈피하여 새로운 시각에서 연구주제 간의 연결 관계를 살펴봄으로써 중심이 되는 연구주제를 파악하고자 한다. 즉, 이 연구에서는 산업보안 관련 연구를 대상으로 내용분석과 언어네트워크 기법을 연계하여 산업보안 관련 연구를 보다 계량적이고 객관적인 시각에서 접근하고자 하였다. 연구결과를 통하여 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같이 크게 두 가지 정도로 요약될 수 있다. 첫째, 언어네트워크 분석을 통한 산업보안 연구경향으로써 산업보안 관련 연구를 분석한 결과, ‘보안정책’이라는 키워드가 가장 중요한 위치에 있으며, 그 다음으로 ‘산업기술ㆍ기업’, ‘대응방안ㆍ유출방지’, ‘법적보호ㆍ산업스파이’ 등이 높은 연결중심성을 보여주고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 연구경향 분석의 방법론 측면에서의 논의로써 연구경향의 분석방법에 있어 기존의 빈도분석 수준을 넘어 양적ㆍ질적 분석이 동시에 적용 가능한 네트워크 분석 방법 등의 방법론이 다양하게 활용되어야 한다는 교훈을 얻을 수 있었다.
