This study seeks to find out the changes appeared to school violence adolescent offenders, especially concerning changes in their attitude and recognition about school violence before and after their taking community service program. Community service program consists of 7 classes, and is run by community welfare centers for school violence offenders. This research employed a pre-to-post examination design on fixed subjects so called paired t-test, and nonparametric statistics method Wilcoxon test to examine the effects the programs. Also, content analysis has been conducted to find out exact degree of changes. The study showed significant development of self-identity of the offenders. In other words, it is possible to induce positive changes on the school Violence offenders impulsive self-expression and negative attitude or recognition about the school and other people. The result clearly proves the stunning importance of the self-identity. Further study is required on the topics like national standard school security system that specializes on school violence, establishing school violence organization, and the ways to prevent recurrence of school violence offenders who took community service programs.

본 연구는 학교폭력 가해청소년을 중심으로 총 7회기로 운영되는 사회복지관의 특별이수 프로그램인 사회봉사를 경험하면서 나타나는 폭력에 대한 태도 와 인식의 변화를 알아보고는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구의 방법은 동일집단 사전-사후검사설계의 방법인 대응표본T검정(paired t-test)과 비모수통계기법인 Wilcoxon 검정을 사용하였다. 그리고 프로그램 진행과정에서 나타난 학교폭력에 대한 인식의 변화유형에 대해서는 진술내용을 토대로 내용분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 자아정체성이 실시 전 보다 실시 후에 증가되는 양상을 나타냈다. 즉, 폭력적이고 충동적인 자기표현과 학교 및 타인에 대한 부정적 태도와 인식을 긍정적으로 변화하도록 유도할 수 있다는 점에서 자아정체성의 효과성이 입증되었다. 향후 연구에서는 학교폭력에 전문적으로 개입하는 국가 표준의 학교안전시스템, 학교폭력 대책기구를 설치하는 것이 필요하며, 사회봉사를 이수한 학교폭력 가해학생의 재발을 방지하기 위해 학교에서 적응하는 과정을 사후관리 할 수 관리체계 마련에 대한 연구가 필요하다.
