- This study aims to analyze the Korean greeting expressions in daily life in Korea. In particular, this study focuses on meeting situations and departing situations in daily conversations among Korean people. In general, the communication between humans includes verbal communication and nonverbal communication. This study considers sociolinguistic features in each type based on generation and gender differences. Although general trend could be identified through the analysis or real conversation situations, more research can be necessary to find additional features of korean greeting expressions in special situations.
