The Araneofauna of Wolchulsan National Park was studied with 86 species included in 75 genera and 27 families during May to October in 2009. Of these the dominant families are sheet web spiders (Linyphiidae, 11 species), jumping (Salticidae, 11 species), comb-footed (Theridiidae, 10 species), orb-weaver (Araneidae, 7 species) belonging to 8 endemics and 12 export restricted species. For the ecological guild the wandering spiders was composed with 14 ground runners spider species (16%), 13 stalkers (15%), 11 ambushers (13%), two follage runners (2%) and web spiders consisted of 14 space web builders (16%), 12 sheet web builders (14%), 11 tangle weavers (13%) and nine orb weavers (10%). The spider fauna of Wolchulsan National Park was included six Palearctics and one Holarctic [Walckenaeria capito (Westring, 1861)] and one cosmopolitan species [Parasteatoda tepidariorum (C. L. Koch, 1841)] and is most similar to Chinese spiders (69 species).

월출산국립공원에서 조사된 진정거미류는 총 27과 75속 86종이 분류 및 동정되었다. 과별 종다양성은 접 시거미과(11종, 13%), 깡충거미과 (11종, 13%), 꼬마거미과(10종, 11%), 왕거미과(7종, 8%) 순으로 나타났으며 한국 고유종 8종, 국외반출승인대상종 12종이 조사되었다. 길드 생활형에 의한 주행성 거미류 (wandering spiders)는 지표 성 거미류(ground runners)에서 6과 14속 14종(16%), 직접 돌아다니며 사냥하는 거미류(stalkers)에서3과 13속 13종 (15%), 풀 사이를 돌아다니는 거미류(ambushers)에서 3과 8속 11종(13%), 나뭇잎 사이를 돌아다니는 거미류(follage runners)에서 2과 2속 2종(2%) 로 분석되었으며 정주성 거미류(web spiders)는 공간적 거미집을 짓는 거미류(space web builders)에서 5과 12속 14종(16%), 시트형 거미집을 짓는 거미류(sheet web-builders)에서 5과 10속 12종(14%), 뒤엉킨 혼잡한 거미집을 짓는 거미류(tangle weavers)에서 1과 9속 11종(13%), 둥근 거미집을 짓는 거미류(orb weavers)에서 3과 7속 9종(10%) 순으로 조사되었다. 또한 주변 국가별 동일종 비교분석(일본산 65종, 러시안산 41 종, 대만산 12종, 유럽산 7종)에서 중국산 거미류가 69종으로 제일 높았으며 6구북구종(Palearctic), 1 전북구종 (Holarctic, 와흘쌍혹애접시거미) 그리고 1 세계공통종(Cosmopolitan, 말꼬마거미)이 조사되었다.
