Yang-dong is the village that has kept the benevolence, the beautiful value for 600 years. It is great that it has kept the value of life constantly almost 600 years since people formed the village first. Therefore, designating the Yang-dong village as the World Heritage Site is really good, because people all over the world acknowledged that our, Korean traditional culture and value. However, we have to pay attention to the fact that people in the village have been endured the inconvenience until they gain the name of the global historic culture village. This article was developed to think about why the numerous classical scholars visited the Yang-dong village. Above all, Yang-dong village is the place where many classical scholars and writers such as Taegae Lee, Hwang, and Dong Yack Lee, An-nul, Seo-ae Yoo, Seong-yong visited, when Woo-jae and Wheo-jae teachers lived there. They retraced the course of their lives, learned the deads’ value and ideal, and looked back themselves in there. But, unlike the old classical scholars, people who visit the Yang-dong village only focused on the external look of Yang-dong’s building. They have no interest in the study and value of life of Woo-jae and Woe-jae teachers and a lot of stories that has come down from the thought of Dong-bang 18 wise men. These aspects are because people see the Yang-dong village and preserve it as the Jeongjuhyeong Culture Heritage. This paper will point out these kinds of problems and present the practicable measure.
