This paper is A Study on Legend of Tangun(단군) in History of Korean Philosophy. Study on Legend of Tangun is important in korean society of current times. Because, ethical and moral vision in Legend of Tangun was different from visions of other surrounding country, and then is absorbed in values and norms of korean society of current times. I thank Legend of Tangun, first of all, should be analyzed in ethical and moral dimension. Because I think development of philosophical study starts with study of ethical and moral conflict. From the perspective of western ethics & morality, Legend of Tangun is insufficient data for the perpose of the foundations of ethics. Because it there is no norm. However, Legend of Tangun did not show ethical and moral vision at all. Philosophical studies on Legend of Tangun find out moral values and can overlook the History of Korean Philosophy by means of the moral values. Description of Legend of Tangun in History of Korean Philosophy is bound by public perception and the ruling ideology. Readers with a strong cultural needs want to meet Philosophical core notions like totality[大全], exquisite synthesis[妙合], 生命[Life], 愛[Love], 敬[respect], 無爲[inaction], 玄妙之道[deeply exquisite truth], 弘益人間[to help human beings] etc.. Because, by no means these philosophical core notions, they can understand korean culture and history of korean philosophy. By the way, Philosophical core notions in Philosophical studies on Legend of Tangun and Description of Legend of Tangun in History of Korean Philosophy does not conform in all probability. The result of philosophical studies on Legend of Tangun is not reflected in Description of Legend of Tangun in History of Korean Philosophy. When Philosophical studies on Legend of Tangun and Description of Legend of Tangun in History of Korean Philosophy is combined with the proper quantum, especially, after a careful process of rigorous criticism, when The result of philosophical studies on Legend of Tangun is not reflected in Description of Legend of Tangun in History of Korean Philosophy, it becomes more useful implement of comprehensive understanding of Korean Philosophy, for the public as well as experts.

이 논문은 한국철학사 속에서 단군신화가 어떻게 記述되고 있는지에 관한 연구이다. 연구는 단군신화 연구 사료 자체에 관한 논란들을 몇 가지 쟁점을 중심으로 정리하는 것으로부터 시작한다. 단군신화에 관한 기존의 철학적 연구들에서는 사료 자체에 관한 비평을 하지 않고 있다. 사료 자체에 대한 비평은 역사학자, 종교학자 등 여러 분야의 전문연구자들에 의해서 세밀히 행하여졌으며, 그 결과는 사료 번역서의 주석 등을 통하여 널리 알려져 있다. 논자는 기존의 비평들 가운데 사료의 철학적 독해와 관련된 부분을 선별 정리한다. 한국철학사 속의 단군신화 기술에 관한 본격적 연구에 앞서, 기존의 단군신화 연구 내용과 경향을 분석한다. 전문연구자들은 한국철학 연구의 분과 가운데 하나로 단군신화를 연구하여 왔다. 이는 한국철학사 편찬과는 구분되는 분과적 연구이고, 철학사 서술 과정에서 압축과 생략이 불가피한 것과는 달리, 한국철학 연구의 한 분과로서의 연구는 단군신화를 더 상세하게 설명 비평한다. 단군신화에 관한 분과적 연구와 철학사 記述은 각기 다른 특징을 가질 수밖에 없으면서도, 상호 비교 보완될 때 각각 깊이와 명확성을 더해갈 수 있을 것이다. 이 논문은 ‘한국철학사’, ‘한국사상사’ 등의 표제 하에 출간된 책들 가운데 철학 분야의 전문적 연구자들에 의하여 저술된 8종을 선별하여, 출간 연대순으로 배열하여, 각각의 한국철학사 속의 단군신화 記述 부분을 분석한다. 분석은 테스트 안에서 부각되고 있는 가치, 텍스트에서 추출할 수 있는 관념, 텍스트 전반을 지배하는 사고 경향 등을 각각의 한국철학사가 어떻게 기술하였는지를 드러내는 방향으로 행하여진다. 이 논문 결론에서는 8종 한국철학사 분석 결과를 종합한다. 이 단원에서 논자는 한국철학 연구의 분과로서 단군신화 연구와 한국철학사 속의 단군신화 연구를 비교한다.
