This thesis tries to seek the literature-educational possibility of the Region Literature texts, while taking note of indetermination of placeness. Regions are based on places and regionalism is created as a concrete token of placeness. Placeness is a text reconstructed by experiencers’ recognition, experience, circumstances and etc. Since identityness of places is indeterminate, it varies depending on the circumstances of experiencers and the method of place configuration. Forming unique placeness by engraving sense of places means experiencers oneself, ‘You’, or ‘I’ and ‘We’. In one step ahead of a stage developing unique placeness according to urban cultural strategies, to pay attention to developing educational contents as well as literature activities focusing on places and placeness is eventually to dismantle binominal oppositive regional conception and will be a methodology to represent the diversity of a region itself.

이 논문은 장소성의 비결정성에 주목하여 지역문학 텍스트의 문학교육적 가능성을 모색해 본 글이다. 지역은 장소에 바탕을 두고 있으며, 지역성은 장소성의 구체적 현현으로 생성된다. 장소성은 경험 주체의 인식, 체험, 상황 등에 의해 재구성되는 텍스트이다. 장소의 정체성은 비결정적이기 때문에 경험 주체의 상황과 장소 형상화 방법에 따라 달라지기 마련이다. 장소감을 각인하고 이를 통해 독특한 장소성을 형성하는 것은 경험 주체인 바로 ‘너’이며, 또 ‘나’이며, ‘우리’이다. 독특한 장소성을 도시문화 전략에 따라 개발하는 단계에서 한 걸음 더 나아가, 장소와 장소성에 초점을 둔 문학활동과 교육 콘텐츠 개발에 관심을 기울여야 하는 것은 이항 대립적 지역 개념을 해체하고, 지역 그 자체의 다양성을 표현하기 위한 방법론이 될 것이다.
