The logic of the sovereignty that the posterity of AMATERASU, ruler of TAKAMA no HARA, governs the world permeates the entire work of KOJIKI as an underlying theorem. The most typical example can be found in Chuaiki from the second volume of KOJIKI.
The theorem makes it seem natural for Emperor CHUAI, who must be a hero, to die suddenly at the beginning. It also smooths the transition to the next generation governed by a sacred king of a new dynasty, and thus the author of KOJIKI finds it easy to create the founding Emperor image as used in the field of history.
In more create terms, all six elements constituting CHUAIKI can be divided into two chronological periods. The first begins with MIARE (The birth of OUJIN) after the sudden demise of emperor CHUAI and ends with repression of YAMATO's treason. The second deals with stories about MISOGI and renaming and those about the dedication of SAKAKURA-UTA, which highlight the growth of prince OUJIN. Both are embedded in the work to materialize the theorem mentioned above. In light of those observation, it can be concluded that KOJIKI is a literaly work district from NIHONSHOKI.
