The purpose of this study is to examine the experiences of a Physical Education(P.E.) teacher who has managed a high school sports club for two years by using an autoethnography, to understand the experiences and various emotions of researchers, and to share practical knowledge of school sports club management. The autoethnography is used for the naturalistic description of a researcher’s experiences and emotions. I have examined my own experiences as a P.E. teacher through self-recall, self-reflection, self-observation, participant observation, research journal, depth interview, and document analysis. The key findings are as follows. First, the students in school sports club activities showed intimate relationship with their classmates. Above all, they expressed and shared their true feelings with the researcher, which was a big gift for the researcher. Second, the long period of the school sports club management was stressful and demanding. Third, due to the stress from some teachers who had negative perspectives with the school sports club management, the researcher couldn't help suffering from loneliness, sadness, and resentment.

이 연구의 목적은 학교 현장에서 2년간 학교스포츠클럽을 운영했던 경험을 자문화기술지를 통해서 탐색적으로 분석하여 학교스포츠 클럽을 운영했던 체육교사의 경험과 다양한 감정을 이해하는 것이다. 그리고 학교 현장에서 학교스포츠클럽대회를 운영하고자 하는 체육교사들에게 학교스포츠클럽대회 운영에 관한 실천적인 지식을 제공하는 것이다. 이 연구는 학교스포츠클럽대회를 2년간 운영했던 연구자 자신의 경험과 감정을 있는 그대로 표현하기 위해서 자문화기술지를 활용하였다. 자기회상, 자기성찰, 자기관찰, 참여 관찰, 연구일지의 작성, 심층면담, 관련 문서의 분석을 실시하였고 수집된 자료들은 자문화기술지 분석방법으로 분석하였다. 체육교사의 학교스포츠클럽 운영 경험은 다음과 같이 분석되었다. 첫째, 학교스포츠클럽대회 학급 구성원 간의 관계를 가깝게 하였고 학생들은 스트레스를 해소하며 자신의 감정을 솔직하게 표현하는 것을 통해서 연구자는 기쁨과 즐거움을 경험하였다. 둘째, 연구자는 장기간의 학교스포츠클럽대회 운영으로 인한 과중한 업무로 큰 부담을 갖고 있었다. 셋째, 연구자는 학교스포츠 클럽대회를 운영하는 과정에서 학생들과의 관계에서 기쁨과 즐거움을 경험했으나 학교스포츠클럽대회에 대한 부정적인 견해를 갖고 있는 교사들과의 갈등으로 외로움, 슬픔, 분노를 경험하였다.
