The purpose of the present study is to develop a valid measure for performance assessment by identifying underlying factors and testing external validities of the resultant scale. Through the review process of recent studies about the validation of performance assessment, the performance assessment scale (based on a model including 11 factors with hierarchical structure) consisting of 34 items was developed. The authors in the present study tested the scale with 92 secondary school teachers in moral education. The validity and reliability of the scale was tested through a confirmatory factor analyses. However, it was so unfittable that the alternative models were investigated through factor analysis. Finally, the model of 4 factor consisting of 24 items was confirmed of the most proper scale. The reliability of the scale was high over .80. Also, the relevance was relatively high, ranging from .60 to .80. No items needed to be eliminated.

본 연구의 목적은 도덕과 수행평가의 실행을 진단할 수 있는 검사도구를 개발하고 그 타당성을 검증해 보는 데 있다. 이를 위해 수행평가 타당화 준거에 관한 선행 연구 결과를 바탕으로 수행평가 실행 절차를 반영한 위계적 2차 구조의 11개 구인에 근거한 34개 문항의 검사도구를 개발한 후, 92명의 중등교사를 대상으로 확인적 요인분석을 통해 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 초기 모형의 적합도가 낮아 탐색적 요인을 통해 4요인 모형의 가능성을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 도덕과 수행평가의 실행 진단 검사도구는 4요인 모형이며 24개 문항으로 이루어졌다. 도덕과 수행평가의 실행 진단 검사도구의 신뢰도는 . 80이상으로 매우 양호하였다. 문항분석을 실시한 결과 모든 문항이 문항 총점과 .60-.80 으로 높은 상관을 보였다. 문항이 삭제되었을 때 신뢰도가 높아지는 문항 역시 발견되지 않았다.
