In our country, the substance crime was not recognized as a serious social problem. because the rates of substance crime ware low compared to the rates of the other crime. But nowadays, we concerned about the substance crime because substance crime shows a tendency to increase. And especially the substance crime is likely to be hided.
The purpose of this paper tries to make a bridge between Drug Abuse and Dance/Movement Therapy Dance/movement therapy(DMT) is focused on movement behavior as it emerges in the therapeutic relationship. Expressive, communicative, and adaptive behaviors are all considered for group and individual treatment. Body movement, as the core component of dance, simultaneously provides the means of assessment and the mode of intervention for dance/movement therapy. DMT can be used to heal serious disorders and diseases. Although DMT is promoted to reduce stress and center the body, this therapy is very effective in helping to heal other disabilities and diseases.
Today, dance/movement therapy is used to treat people with various mental health conditions, including eating disorders, trauma, autism, and substance abuse problems.

심각성을 더해가는 마약류 중독에 대한 대응기제는 여러 가지가 있지만, 효과적인 대응을 위해 치료적 접근에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 이러한 치료적 접근은 보편적으로 사회내에서 이뤄지며, 마약류중독자를 처벌 일변도에서 탈피하여 치료를 함께 시행할 수 있다는 점, 과거 중독자의 강제수용ㆍ3격리수용의 인권침해적 소지를 줄였다는 점 등을 고려한다면 재활센터와 같은 사회내의 치료교육으로서 매우 중요성이 크다고 할 수 있다.
본 연구에서는 마약류 중독자에 대한 치료적 접근으로서 무용치료에 대한 개관과 그 가능성을 고찰하였다. 무용치료는 중독자의 분리된 신체성을 충분한 사랑의 접근으로 다시 완전케 하는 역할을 한다. 여러 가지 종류의 개인별 문제성을 만나게 되겠지만, 무용치료는 종합예술치료로서 치료적 효과를 거둘 수 있을 것이라 판단되며, 향후 마약류 중독자에 대한 전문적인 무용치료적 접근을 필요로 할 것이다.
